I too was worried she might break if she got disturbed too much but it's obvious she is in full broody mode now. At this point I don't think anything will drive her away. Perfect timing on giving her the eggs, un pipped eggs gives her the opportunity to learn the entire process when they do pip.

Super egg-citing, I will be checking in here all day in anticipation, hopefully babies start zipping soon!!

I was worried as well, but she proved to me that my fears were unjustified. I'll be giving hourly (or half-hourly if I'm being honest) updates! Right now my biggest worry is the humidity

Broodies temps rise high enough to make their brood patch on their chests to sweat, her eggs should be ok.

That's perfectly fine! Is Cruella on the floor now? You don't want chicks falling out of the crate. Get the chick feed ready and put on a plate or something low so they can access it.

The chick feed and the chick feeders and waterest are ready since yesterday, but I'll be moving them in once the chicks in the bator (which probably are the early hatchers) hatch, or zip. Cruella is in the nest box, which is very low to the ground, but I'll be checking on it

Sorry, I was jumping between subjects and made it confusing! I have no worried for Cruella now. I 100% trust her. If there are any viable embryos under her, I know they'll be fine. My worry is Electric Lady

It's early morning, my brain may not be keeping up here either! Next time you do a hatch, before you get started, get yourself a small temp/humidity gauge you can put inside the machine. It's always good to cross reference the machine, incubators are notorious for going out of calibration, even new ones. I trust my inside guage more than the machines guages. Temp and humidity are everything, you need to know if they are correct or if your machine is misleading you.

I will. I know for a fact the temp reading on this incubator is always one degree off, so it's logical to assume something similar goes on with the humidity
