It is ! The zipping process is super fast, its the pipping that takes time. After zipping, and breaking over that egg, it's two good kicks and they're free. It's so funny to watch them

Yes once they get determined to get out of the egg, it's quick! So how many chicks hatched and how many eggs left?

We now have three chicks that have hatched. 8 more eggs in Electric Lady. 5 under Cruella (where God knows jow many have hatched, or done whatever). I'm pretty sure two in Electric Lady and one under Cruella are infertile though

Oh you bet! Now it's just a matter if they'll be dry enough to go in the brooder by night

It takes about 12 hours to fully dry, some take longer. They can stay in there 24 hours though, they absorbed the yolk before hatching and that can sustain them for a couple of days.
