Chickens can crush Quail eggs quite easily, I'd definitely use the incubator if you want Quail chicks! It's not that common Quail go broody and when they do, they rarely stay on the eggs full term.

Quail eggs are so tiny, Bantams fair better with Quail eggs, but standard sized hens can easily crush them.

Please don't. These chicks aren't even one week old and they've caused more drama than anyone can! And I say that as someone who likes drama!

My phoenix hatched a quail egg with her clutch. Maybe keep a pair of chicken eggs in the clutch to help keep her from setting all the way down?

Thats a good idea! I might just see if we can find any chicken eggs nearby . I don’t know how many chickens my mother wants but she did surprise me with 4 new ones a few days ago so I don’t think she would complain . She keeps telling me we need a rooster so maybe we should try and hatch one

It's been a bit long, I doubt they will hatch either. I'd give them till tomorrow and then pitch them, no doubt if they were alive, they are dead now.

If you use fertile eggs, wait 2-3 days to put quail eggs under her so they all hatch around the same time
