Honestly I'm glad I haven't found a fabric store. I'd buy half of the shop. The worst part being, I don't know a single craft that I can use said fabric!

Nothing like being in the checkout line at the store with a bunch of people behind you and your card keeps declining even though you do have money
I had to use the card DoorDash gave me that also have money just to buy my stuff and leave.
I was embarrassed

This happened to people all the time when I worked at Walmart. Customers waiting in line usually got angry; not at the customer, but at the cashier (ie. me). It would happen randomly. The customer could have just gone through with no problem, but the second time the reader would refuse the card. I always tried to give them several different ways to get it to read, and almost always it worked. There were a few isolated incidents where it was the customer's fault, like they had forgotten to activate the card. Usually, though, it is the card reader, and most people either understand this, or bash on the cashier. If you were in Walmart, then blame the 2016 equipment. If it were updated, these problems would not be so common. I stopped being embarrassed by my card being declined. I just thwomp the reader with my palm and start calling it names.
