I guess it depends on whether Greek heat and Malaysia heat are the same! I would imagine the Brahmas struggled in the heat, they look pretty heavily feathered.

I consider getting serama awhile ago then realised I probably don’t want to get quail sized eggs from my chickens


I have difficult decisions to make with the dogs. Still waiting to get an appointment with the vets but they probably can’t answer the major questions I need to know which is will Fanta still be able to work. Most vets don’t know much about AD work so might say its fine without actually realising what I need Fanta to do


My mother is of the opinion I need another AD prospect because Fanta hurting herself so frequently is not normal and will happen again. My brother‘s opinion is she will probably be fine and she did do a lot of exercise that might have been very stressful on her joints he also told me that if we get a knee brace for Fanta she would be fine still working, we were specifically talking about that one of her task was going to be pulling me up slopes

What Fanta did when hurting her knee this time was a hour of supervised dog playtime, there was quite a bit of standing around then later in the day she went on a 30 minute off leash walk. She started limping at the end of the walk no sudden yelp or any falling over that I saw. I don’t think that should have caused a healthy 16 month old dog to be limping for 3 days while on crate rest. do you think this is a lot?



I found a german shepherd breeder that has had some of her dogs be ADs (as well as many other things) and she has 2 puppies that are exactly what I want . But I have Pikelet (7 month springer) and Fanta. my mother thinks we should go have a look at them, I already know my brother will probably be against it but then again he doesn’t seem to understand why whats going on with Fanta is such a huge issue
