I came out to my mom recently and she WILL NOT stop buying me pride stuff. By now I have a pride diffuser, two pride shirts, and... an inclusive pride flag outside the house. I love her so much!

Yep. I chose a feminine name for him. I originally was going to do a Celtic name specifically for him, but then I heard Aoife and fell in love. Most of my faerie names are unisex because of how I write them, but I had to make an exception for this character.

@Canadian Wind , you mentioned (many, many moons ago) that certain crystals and gemstones couldn't/shouldn't be next to each other because they'd become unbalanced or drained or something like that.

How do you know what can't go next to what? Like do fertility stones in general do bad next to one's that help block negative energy or is it based on the stone's hardness? Family, color?

It's more that their specific energies get muddled up if there are too many of them. Certain stones, like amethyst, are actually used to cleanse other stones.

They are also affected by our own energy, and need to be cleansed/recharged every once in a while. There are several ways of doing this. Salt is good, as is sunshine, or clear running water (like a stream).

Okay. Most are honestly just for display and will hopefullybe housed like in a thimble display case, but I didn't want to accidentally ruin anything if I had some close to each other that shouldn't have been.

It *can* but is not a preferred stone for that.

Personally, I prefer to cleanse stones using methods other than another stone. Since then you need to purify *that* one, too.
