Was making preparations on the serama pen, so everyone was out. Lady Gaga was on a mission to woo Ursula. Suddenly I couldn't find him. He was stuck between the two layers of wire, still making coo-ing woo-ing sounds

I'd love to have a buzz cut. But you have to keep getting a trim, or it starts to look shaggy. I'm not into upkeep.

I buzzed mine off 5 years ago on my 60th birthday, bucket list thing.
Plus it's so fine it couldn't be held in a tail and those short pieces flying all over and sticking to my sweaty face drove me nuts.
My daughter did the first cut and now I do it myself with my dogs clippers(we had/have separate blades).

Well, I'm completely depressed. Fluffy just died in my hands.

I found her this afternoon on one of the hidden nests, so figured she was laying. But to make sure, at bed time I went and checked that spot and she was still on there. I carefully got her out (the nest is under a fallen tree trunk) and she didn't struggle. Alarm bells went off. Her butt was covered in poop. I brought her inside and made her a comfy spot in the washroom, wrapped up in a towel. Offered her water, she refused it. She felt super skinny, which is weird because I pick her up almost every day and she wasn't before.

The I heard a ruckus in the washroom, turned around and she's just flapping like crazy! I went and picked her up to calm her down, but it looked like she was having a seizure of some sort. When it stopped, she was dead!

I hate chickens!!! She was fine yesterday! She was fine all her life, one of the healthiest chickens I had and the sweetest one who would let me pick her up and give her scritches!

WHY DO CHICKENS JUST KEEP DYING??!!!

I want nothing more to do with them. I'll stick to ducks, I've never had any that died out of the blue, unlike about 75% of the damn chickens!!!
