Made my birds very happy this morning. Yesterday I bought a damaged bag of black oil sunflower seeds for them.
It was a 40lb bag with only a few scoops of seeds missing for $10

Yes they are! Now they're flying on top of mom's back while she's walking, something the other babies never did. Yes, that's Ursula semi-setting. Some minutes later she got up and followed Cruella and her babies

So cute! ❤ This group sounds quite spry and healthy! Must be Lady Gagas Serama genes. Ursula is pretty, hopefully she gets back on those eggs!

They seem to be! Lady Gaga does seem to have strong genes, yes! She did get back on the eggs, but honestly she's been like that for the whole time she's been setting. She lacks experience, and the time of year, nor the fact that there are chicks chirping around her don't help her

It is late in the season, hopefully it's just her lack of broody hormones making her so aloof to her eggs. Maybe come spring she gets her momma drive going!
