Yes, thankfully. Cruella got more than a week's head start with them as well, so I think they know they should follow Cruella
That's good, it should be imprinted by now to stay with Cruella. 😊

Ehh, sometimes. I've had birds that do much better raising their chicks alone

I would say that Cruella is one of those, but we will see. What we do know is that Ursula is a free spirit. These kids will grow up to have two drastically different moods

OK so spring planning: I'll be setting 20-30 serama eggs, destined to hatch sometime during Easter Holidays. The thing is, my breeding male is in with the mix breed girls. So, do I put him in the serama pen permanently, come April, or do I put him in with the serama a couple of times a week, and then take him back to his staple girls

He should breed the girls for at least 2 weeks prior to collecting eggs. I can't wait to follow along!! :woot

Yup! Easter is 5 of May, so I'll probably start breeding one week into April. I'm just not sure if breeding them two times a week or so would be enough to ensure fertility. I'm glad you'll be following along! I'm thinking of doing a Hatch Along, as well as joining the Easter HA
