It's definitely not bright enough in this room, I closed the blind to take the photo just now but during the day all the blinds are open in this corner. I've been turning the pot so it gets as much light as possible. Hopefully it blooms soon! I keep talking to it, come on little flower, you can do it!!

I've recently found out that turning a pot is more harmful for the plant than not. And I can see that now, thinking about it. In nature, a plant does not get turned around all the time, forcing it to spend energy to reorient itself constantly. It grows where it is, and adapts to that location.

Can't wait to see the flowers! I miss having plants inside...

I was left alone for 5 minutes yesterday, found a new best friend. I usually won't pet cats I don't know, but this one was in the middle of the busy town and just looked lonely... Idk if anyone will agree, but I dislike cats being loose in towns. Too many cats get hurt, hit by cars or attacked by dogs, and the owners blame the dogs, the drivers, instead of accepting its their animal and its not kept safe. I've also seen aggressive cats who have hurt children and attacked dogs (truly).
Perhaps unless in the country with fewer cars etc, imo I think cats should be house cats...
Anyway, I saw the creature walking around people, and called her over, she ran over to me and sat with me for a while, just wanting a fuss. Heaven forbid I stop stroking her, she demanded my full attention
So now I want a cat.
I'd be content being a crazy cat lady.

Everyone needs cats Indoor cats are better in every way for a pet cat! Safer ,is actual responsible cat ownership and more time with the cats!

another thing that annoys me...

cats are social animals! other then a few exceptions you should get at least 2 cats and I don’t mean that as a joke

There's an old study that proves tha plants respond to positive words, among many other things. So that's good. Don't really turn the pot, that will help with avoiding elongation on the mother plant, but the stock will take longer to bloom

The entire plant tends to pull and reach toward the light and grow sideways instead of growing upward. Should I just let it grow that way?

Yes, it'll elongate. It's a matter of personal preference. It will definitely take longer to bloom if you turn it every day, but it will look ugly

The flower seems to have turned 180° over night and is hanging inward! It looks like it might have a bud developing, I am keeping close eye on it! 👁

Thank you for the info on turning the plant, I am hoping to maybe get a small greenhouse come spring, this would definitely eliminate the need to turn and of course more healthy for the plants.
