What are you going to do with all those boys?! I have NEVER had a hatch that there were more females than males.

I had a hen I ended up selling a while back that almost never had any boys

Realistically, they're going to be eaten. I'd love to keep one or two, one for a free range flock, and one to keep with his mothers, but unfortunately that is bot doable. Fortunately or not, the serama and the Tsouloufati are prioritised, and I need to keep spots open in case a good male comes along. I was so lucky with my first hatch. Out of 7 birds (6 making it this far), only one is male

I totally get it! I don't care to eat my cockerels either but it's just not feasible to keep them all. Definitely stick to your plans!

No, she was a hassle woth where she insisted on nesting and mom just wanted her gone, so I tacked her on the small group being sold for like an extra 5 bucks. I do miss her thouhh

It's hard to sometimes. There are a couple in this batch that have great colour, and a very interesting conformation. I'd also love for Cruella to get a permanent boyfriend, but

That's a lot of boys for Lady Gaga to parent! They all do have a lot of beautiful colors though. They are all so pretty! ❤

I'm assuming that at some point one of the more nature cockerels (well, his children at least, since he's a cockerel himself) will get the urge to mount their moms, which I'm assuming will be the time they remember Lady Gaga isn't that bad, and he can kick his kid's butts if they get too close to his wives. Although Lady Gaga will be moving in a couple of months, so we'll see if he gets to mate with the girls again. I am loving all the colours. Some seem to have feathered shanks as well. Mixing definitely brings you odd results
