I was one of the lucky ones that never really got cramps. When I was pregnant, I asked what labour pains would feel like at first, and the doctor said "Really strong menstrual cramps". I looked confused and asked what those were!

I get about 36 hours of horrible (but not nearly as bad as they could be apparently) cramps that i can usually muscle through if i drink a lot of caffinr and ibuprofen. After that, some back pain and tenderness but that's about it painwise. Unfortunately I'm just very heavy too.

Also need to sit down and actually start writing again. I've been inching along (I promise an ((enormous)) update is coming, I'm trying to figure out how to do it better when I'm rewriting some spots and the 2000 character limit also really slows things down). I also realized that I'm almost 70 pages in (or more, I can't see page counts on my phone, which is what I've been using the last couple days) and the most romance we've seen is..... I don't think any of what has happened would really even be called romance except that they're getting hitched for political reasons. Plan originally was for this to be considered a fantasy romance. Might just be fantasy now.

Also found out a series I was reading is co sidereal spicy..... just brings up so many questions since I can think of one short encounter in the entire book I'd place at even rather mild, let alone spicy. So.... yeah. I'm a bit nervous to see what my friend considers mine once I actually get these two characters to do more than scream at each other

I've been slowly getting the chicks use to the outdoor temps.
I've also been keeping their heating pad on a lower setting while doing this.

The second book will have more romance though. Especially with a couple I haven't introduced yet. I can't wait for them to meet.

Dumb question but I haven't had chicks in a few months.
How old should they be before I let them free range under supervision?
Currently they've only been in the outdoor brooder to help socialize them with the rest of the flock without them touching
