Apparently sleeping in a tree is a better option for some of my birds

Back home we would always find out birds roosting on top of our hay barn or in the pines growing around it if we didn't call them in early enough.
Had no clue chickens could fly that high, but there they were. We would usually leave them be, they were safe up there. Only thing that would get them up there in Sweden would be birds of prey and they only fly in the daytime anyway.

Thankfully, we're OK. The wildlifes have been burning pretty much the whole of Attica, so we've been on high alert these past few days, but as of now, we're OK. I really hope it stays that way

Well, that shows how out-of-touch I am. I didn't know there were wildfires in Greece. I hope they're able to contain it quickly. Scary.

When the news go global is usually when the wildfire can't be contained; happens about every summer now.

This particular fire wasn't much different. This is the third day, and from my understanding it's the first day it has been contained, and somewhat extinguished. I'm hoping we'll be OK

So glad to hear from you Fluffy!!! When I heard those fires were in Attica, I freaked out! Hopefully they manage to keep them away from you, your area and your FABULOUS flock!
