Thank you! Not sure if it is a Lady's Fingers. From the ones I see online, the spikes are more red, and the plant looks thicker. Maybe I have an adjacent species, or possibly an immature specimen?

Euphorbias are really cool indeed. An odd genus, but a very fun one!
When it gets light here this morning, I will get a photo of mine. It looks pretty similar but maybe you can see the differences.

Yes, the Euphorbias are cool looking! Are they a jungle plant? They look jungly to me. :p

Fluffy, here's my Lady Fingers, side and top view...

Are you sure that's a mammilaria, Fluffy? I seem to recall they are more like a barrel cactus but with little 'nipples' all over (thus the name).

Too lazy to look it up.

I'm relatively sure.

Mammillaria are a diverse genus. Some are thin, some thick. Some grow rounder, others taller. Some grow vertically, others horizontally.

After a not so thorough research session, mine is other a "juvenile" mammillaria elongata (which would be the Lady Fingers), or another name I can't remember
