Great to hear your plants are all doing so well! How many barrel cactus do you have? I don't know why I thought I needed 2 of them.
They have become monsters in I think are 8" pots? Could be 10", I can't remember. I wish our climate would allow to plant these in the ground but I don't think they would survive our winters. And yes there is a limit to the size of pot we can pot these things in!
I will get a photo of them tomorrow. My Haworthia will not stop growing either, it's becoming a monster. If it outgrows the 12" pot it's in, I'm not sure what to do! 55 gallon drum?
It's 7 years old, flower stalks are everywhere.
Great your Lithops are done splitting! I've got mine outside, sun all day long and they are splitting at glacial speed. Not sure what's going on with them. I am starting to wonder if my climate isn't warm enough for them.
Enjoy your babies!![]()
I've been learning how to cure Salmon to eat raw for Sashimi and Sushi.
Sorry you lost one of your Barrels,Yup, that seems to be the problem here as well. I’m back to one barrel cactus, the one I’d picked up last summer and planted outside didn’t make it. I guess we’ll have to deal with it once they get big enough that we can’t move them
Right? The haworthias grow like crazy! Those things produce like 40 offshoots every year. Who said only carnivorous plants are dangerous?

Did it last night on a small salmon cut I got from Safeway. A little over salted but good for a first try!Oh, fun! Sushi is delicious.
Have you tried it yet? If so, how did it turn out?
