Shes okay
Still a total donut but I love her.
She was a bit slow eating her food for a day or so, but she probably had some mild bruising in her throat. She's back to normal now!
Huge relief.

She gave me some cuddles yesterday, I was crouched collecting eggs and she came over and started nibbling my clothes.
She loves being squeezed and cuddled and having her feathers gently ruffled. She absolutely loves it. She followed me around while I was doing jobs too.
I hand raised my ducks so they're both pretty clingy and affectionate. They're never scared of me which is an honour, but I never pet them if they want their space, which some days they do. We have a special bond, hence why the other day was so terrifying!
Wonderful news, I'm glad she has recovered and is enjoying lots of snuggles!! 🥰😍 I totally get it, there is a close bond with some of our babies, it's very hard on the heart when someone isn't well for what ever reason. ❤️

My partner surprised me with this beautiful kalanchoe this morning :love

The first plant he ever got for me was a kalanchoe, with beautiful orange flowers. But I was in the middle of a dark depression and neglected it more than it could handle. Now I'm better and have a collection of 20 plants that are doing well. So I think this lovely one will be fine!

Beautiful! ❤️ Nothing like a plant to brighten your day, especially when it's given to you. 😊

Heavy on the last part :p

Any saving this plant? It was left outside on the street with a sign asking for a new home so I took it!
But I'm pessimistic about it's health.
Golden lace cacti? Not sure? Any advice?

It looks healthy to me! Id replant it in a pot one size up from this one, a pot with a drainage hole, preferably a terracotta pot. Get a succulent soil and mix perlite in 50/50 mix. Lots of morning sunshine, no all day blazing sun however. It probably only needs to be watered every 2 or 3 weeks. Stick a chop stick down to the bottom of the pot to check for moisture, water when the stick comes out bone dry. During the winter it will probably only need water every 5 or 6 weeks, cacti go dormant in winter.
