LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Everytime someone brings up Pride or some Pride event, I'm a little jealous because I've never gone at any of them

Definitely go, if you ever get the chance. It’s totally worth it. The sense of community, the empowerment, the music and the dancing is so worth it. And who can forget the drag queens!

Any protesters seem so small compared to how bright we all shine on pride.

As I’m sure you can assume, you still need to be careful and observant, all are strangers, after all. Always go with people you know, and depending on how the parade is treated in your area, stay in the middle of the crowd, and a little to the front.

Even though pride has taken a more celebratory role nowadays (which isn’t really a bad thing), it’s nice to remember why it started, and the importance of continuing to go, through which we advocate for our community, not letting in fade away in dark times

I feel kind of terrible. During the day, Tiny went missing after an hour of free ranging and it turns out that he somehow found his way into the neighbor's yard. They brought him back but I felt bad that he got into their yard.
Accidents are bound to happen, sometimes our flock shows us our mistakes, mine certainly has... repeatedly!
I'm so relieved he got safely back home though

I gotta double down on getting an actual job now.
My dad took the buyout that his job offered.

For now until I can get hired at an actual workplace, I'll be applying for seasonal/temporary jobs like the fair.

My first day of work for TNT Fireworks is Saturday June 28th. I'm just waiting on the schedule to be sent out.

I am still going to keep doing UberEats here and there for extra money though.

Things have been going rather well in serama land. Please excuse my dirty coops, I just finished my finals week and the nasties are getting taken care of.
