This is what I did when my chickens had lice. There's this dust in a blue can from TS, with peremethrin (sp) in it. One can (for me) dusted 6 chickens in one treatment. Dust once a week for 3 weeks, coating the entire bird down to the skin, (but avoiding the beak and mouth area). Pay close attention to the vent area and under the wings. This is all it took and now my chickens are lice-fre (and they were infested).
