Either will work, just make sure you get the spray on the skin around vent, belly, neck, belly.Thank you all for your suggestions. How do you spray the birds? Like can I use just a spray bottle or does it have to be like a pump spray?
I finally got some permethrin concentrate so I’m curious what ratio I should use, I was only wanting to mix up about 8oz/1 cup of spray since I have a small flock at the moment...the bottle doesn’t give any directions on less than a gallon. Any suggestions? Thanks!Either will work, just make sure you get the spray on the skin around vent, belly, neck, belly.
Do the math. This is what I have in my notes:.the bottle doesn’t give any directions on less than a gallon. Any suggestions?

Several posts here show it is safe for poultry.Sorry if I’m late to the party but I too have a lice problem at the moment on some new chickens we got, I’m seeing in comments before me to use permethrin spray, I must know is it safe to use on chickens? And where can I get some? And the final question if it hasn’t been asked already is.. does it kill on contact or do I have to treat ones infected everyday or every other day? Thanks for the help if any is given.![]()
Oh okay thank you, would this product from tsc work?Several posts here show it is safe for poultry.
Any farm store should have the liquid or dust, garden stores might have the dust.
Yes on contact, but also after....treat every 7-10 days until you don't see any lice.
Yes. Tho if you live where it's winter right now might want to use a dust.Oh okay thank you, would this product from tsc work?
