Xylo nodded, leading her out of the waterfall into the lake where they had played before, splashing and teasing each other. He leisurely swam to the side of the lake, where he had left his shoes and shirt. He apologized with a laugh, “Sorry for not having a shirt on this whole time.”

Xylo laughed back, somewhat sarcastically “Sure you did Vampire.” He shook his hair, a lot of the water ending up on her. He joked “Oops.” And shrugged nonchalantly.

Luna followed her, setting the berries on top of the cold stone of the cellar so they didn’t turn warm and sticky. Once they returned upstairs, she sat next to Persepolis and asked conversationally “What do we do while we wait?”

"Anything, really. But we should probably look for supplies. Something to grind the Cattails in, and a bowl to mix the batter." She answered. "We'll also need something to cook the pancakes in. I can use my machete to flip them."
She smiled, asking in an upbeat voice, "Are you up to a scavenger hunt?"

"Anything, really. But we should probably look for supplies. Something to grind the Cattails in, and a bowl to mix the batter." She answered. "We'll also need something to cook the pancakes in. I can use my machete to flip them."

"Great," Persepolis called back. "Now that I think about it, we can use that bowl for both grinding and mixing."
Persepolis headed into an unoccupied room. There were several shelves, but most were empty. Some had boxes on them. She rifled through one of the boxes, finding a hammer with a sturdy wooden handle. This could be useful for grinding the Cattails. She called out "Found a hammer."

Luna smiled, responding excitedly “Perfect!” She asked with a thought, “Now...should we share our loot or keep it to ourselves, that’s the question.” Alluding to Xylo and River, she joked “I hear lovebirds love pancakes.”

Virio looked at her with eyes of compassion, emotions he hadn’t felt for years. He dared to step forward and hug her, holding her in a loose embrace in case she wanted to stop.

Eclipsa gasps slightly, she hasnt had anyone do something so friendly to her ever. Eclipsa closes her eyes and enjoys this moment for as long as she can, thats when she opens her eyes and looks out the mouth of the cave. The rain ceased and the clouds start slowly departing and, "do you want to stay here or go out?"
