Eva obeyed, and entered River's room. She looked out the window at the angry Aves. She realized there and then that not all the Aves were peaceful. Eva came to the conclusion that it was the individual who made those decisions.

Eva obeyed, and entered River's room. She looked out the window at the angry Aves. She realized there and then that not all the Aves were peaceful. Eva came to the conclusion that it was the individual who made those decisions.

River stared at her. "Xylo will be in here soon and we will talk about... All this."

Xylo entered the room a few seconds later, and nodded to River, letting her begin the questioning.

Eva began regretting coming to the cabin. Perhaps one of the caves was a better idea. They saw her as a human killer, not a fellow being, at least two of them did.

Persepolis was close to one of the upstairs bedrooms. She heard the stairs creaking inside the cabin. They must have gone inside She thought Time to get down She started to look for an easy way down when she noticed a gap in the planks of wood next to her. The gap was only millimeters wide, but wide enough for noise to travel through. She could hear the voices of River and Lucas.
Persepolis was conflicted. She knew she shouldn't listen in. It was wrong, after all. That was common sense. But from here she had the perfect combination of being able to see and not be seen. She knew that everyone in front of the cabin couldn't see her and that those inside couldn't either. The only way anyone could see her is if they were standing exactly where Hector is.
She decided, childishly, that she'd just stay put until she could come to a solid decision about whether or not she should leave.
She watched as Xylo entered the cabin.

I have wings because Lucas found me dying, bleeding out on the floor, because an Aves, with the wings of a raven and long dark brown hair had left me to die. She looked up at RIver, then, making sure she knew exactly who it was with just one look. The then continued "Lucas turned me into an Aves to save my life."

River studied her. "That`s good that you aren`t a hunter- if you are telling the truth, but you are still a human, or were. How do we know to trust you?"

Eva looked to her, and asked respectfully "I have done nothing to harm you. You have no evidence against me. I have no weapons either." She added somewhat darkly "If I had malign intentions I would've retaliated already, against the Aves you house here who kills daily."
