Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

"Oh." Stephen said, relief in his voice. He shrugged. "Besides my feet feeling like they are going to fall off, okay I guess. How have you been?"
Horius responded “I’ve been fine. Just nursing my wounds from Xylo, but his were much worse than mine.” A small hint of pride came with that as he stated that fact, that he had bested their leader

"What happened?" Stephen asked, looking slightly worried.
Horius asked, "You didn't see or hear what happened to River and Xylo yesterday? I almost killed them both. Xylo betrayed me multiple times, and deserved whatever he got. I'm sure Persepolis saved them, I assume. But if she wasn't around they'd both be dead."

"Well, first we need to boil some water, about 1 gallon for a stew," Persepolis replied. "We'll have to find a pot, though. There's probably one somewhere in this kitchen."
Hector began rummaging through the cabinets, looking for a pot. he stood up to look through one of the overhead cabinets. He opened it, and jumped back in surprise as a jumble of pots came tumbling out. Unfortunately, he didn't jump out in time, and one caught him on the head. "Ow." he muttered, scowling at the offending pot. "Found one." he said to Persepolis, as he rubbed his head. "Actually, it found me." he huffed.

Persepolis gave a curt laugh as Hector got knocked on the head by a pot, "I see it has chosen you," she remarked jokingly. Thoughtfully, she asked, "Are you okay?" discreetly scanning him over for any cuts or gashes. She didn't see any.
Persepolis walked over and took the pot, filling it with water from her canteen. She started the fire, and placed the pot over the fire, waiting for the water to boil.

"Yeah, I'm fine." he said, rubbing his head ruefully. "Oh! Should we get the carrots ready?" he asked, reffering to the Queen anne's lace tubers.

Stephen shook his head. "I flew into the woods when the hunter/aves came. How bad did they hurt you?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." he said, rubbing his head ruefully. "Oh! Should we get the carrots ready?" he asked, reffering to the Queen anne's lace tubers.
"Yeah, we should cut those up," Persepolis replied. She took a few of the tubers from the pile and started using her machete to chop them, careful not to cut herself.
Thinking out loud, Perspolis said, "Luna doesn't want me doing parkour or anything today, pushing myself too hard and all that. But I'm thinking about going to and working on improving my skills so I can hopefully use parkour in combat." She glanced at Hector, watching for a reaction.
