Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Horius asked him in the same ice cold tone “Do they know how many humans the mansion Aves have killed? There’s a graveyard in the front lawn.” He was planning to assist the humans in the onslaught of the mansion, but didn’t admit it yet.

Stephen didn't know if that was a rhetorical question or not, so he stayed silent, looking down at his hands.

Xylo murmured quietly “Me neither. But it is this way for a reason.” With that said, he placed both of his hands under her chin, cupping her face gently as his eyes met hers, drowning in each other, finding nowhere else to go. Her eyes were so pure. There was a fire in his, of want and love. She was everything to him, and the hunger for her love was eating away at him. He slowly leaned in for a kiss, closing his eyes as their lips met. He kissed her hungrily, passionately, with a love he had never felt for anyone else.
River smiled. "It is." As he kissed her, her heart skipped. She loved him so much, more than she had anyone else... Even more than her father. And she knew, he had as much love for her as she had for him.
She reached up with her hand and stroked the side of his face as they kissed.

Horius continued “The hunters seem to be dwindling down. But that’ll only stay that way for a little while; the humans will come back.” He added “The Mansion Aves are getting cocky. I met one yesterday.”

Xylo’s mind raced as he kissed her, falling into a deep chasm of thought. How much he loved her, how much she loved him, how much they loved each other. The kiss only increased in passion as they continued, stopping only once he pulled away slowly, daring to open his eyes, his hunger for her now sated, meeting her loving gaze in unison. He didn’t have words to explain what he felt, but his look did most of the talking.

"What happened to the ave? Did you...?" Stephen asked, trailing off at the end. "Never mind. That's not my business."

Horius shook his head, responding “No. I didn’t kill her. She was just a little girl. She didn’t even know who I was. I couldn’t do that unless she did something to me. I just warned her not to be around me.” He asked simply “So how have you been?”

"Oh." Stephen said, relief in his voice. He shrugged. "Besides my feet feeling like they are going to fall off, okay I guess. How have you been?"

River stared into his eyes, she didn`t know what to say. She had a feeling that they were feeling the same thing at that second. She leaned forward and touched her forehead to his. Her love was so strong for him... And she hoped he knew just how much she loved him.

Xylo held her close as she placed her head on his. As their skin touched, his heartbeat slowed, synchronizing with hers. He craned his wings even more, enclosing them in a quiet, dark, solace. He closed his eyes, sensing nothing but her head on his. And how much he loved her. He whispered softly, the words coming out slowly and sincerely, “I can’t tell you how much I love you. My heart is yours. Completely yours.” He caressed her face tenderly, rubbing a delicate finger under her chin, closing his eyes to enjoy the time they shared..
