Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

River watched her, careful not to trip. "So, before you became an Aves, or met these other Aves you mentioned, did you think Aves were... Savages?" She asked, stepping over a log.
Eva blushed in embarrassment and nodded slightly. She explained “The humans say Aves are just bloodthirsty creatures with an intent to kill. It seems the humans are more that way now.”

River simply nodded, no change to her expression. "The humans say that about anything that is different than them, or has some power they don`t have or understand. Us Aves are both." She commented.

Eva asked quietly, not wanting to offend her because she knew she had almost been killed by him, “Why does Horius act the way he does? Do you know?”

Sierra was relieved that he agreed with her, before nodding timidly. It would take a lot of energy but she could break rock. She added humbly "I can cut down the trees using ice shards, if you want." The whole thing was rather embarrassing for her. Of course he didn't think she was powerful, because she had knelt before him like a coward. Her heart turned bitter some, but she tried to stow it away, not feel anger towards him and herself for what had happened. She suggested quietly, trying to return to her normal self, "We could tell her now, so that she can be prepared for when the day comes."

He nodded at that, he hoped she wasn't going to be unhappy about having to leave her home. "That sounds good, we will make it work, one way or another. For her I would do anything." He said softly as he looked over to Tory fondly.

Sierra looked at him with compassion for his cause, it was a noble one. She whispered softly, her voice uplifting and positive “We’ll make it happen. That sounds good.” She turned to her wing and froze it some more, before returning her look at him, not knowing what else to say, content with looking at him, joyed he had found his sister once again.

Seeing her freeze her wing again gave him an idea. He walked away and began hunting for the right plants, and the right mud and began mixing them together until he had a thick, not very good looking poultice. He brought it over to her on a rock and showed it to her first. "May I? I know it looks and smells horrid but it does work." He asked and waited for an answer before he would apply it to her wing.

Sierra hated the stench of it, but she knew it would be best for her wing, and she also wanted to get to trust him more. She meekly stretched out her wing and let him touch it, her cotton white feathers slowly wafting in the wind. She looked for some sign of malignity in his eyes, and when she found none, she relaxed her body along with her muscles.

He knew the amount of trust she was giving him here and he gave her a kind smile to let her know he was grateful. In a way it was kind of like an olive branch between the two, who the day before were enemies. He gently slathered the poultice on the effected area, making sure he covered the front and back well before he set the rock down. He cleaned off his hands and couldn't help himself he brushed his fingers across the downy soft feathers briefly. It was a luxury he had never afforded himself, and he hoped he hadn't overstepped.
