Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Sierra shook his hand meekly, before continuing their conversation while she monitored that Tory was safe out of her the corner of her eye. She said a sincere "You're welcome." , slightly in disbelief that he was thanking her, the man who had nearly killed her yesterday. Sierra had no opposition to see him more often, she wanted to get to know him better, his tears had been genuine ones, he couldn't be lying. Sierra acknowledged all that he said, agreeing with it all. She suggested softly, "There's a cave in the side of the mountain, we could build a wooden wall and have the rest of the house inside of the mountain if you want. I could cover the wooden part with snow whenever we wanted to be hidden." She added finally, somewhat shy in saying it "I think it'd be nice if you lived with us." She admitted he would make Tory safer, two people watching her would be better than one. She imagined him an Aves...that brought chills just thinking about it. He would quite the sight, with his golden brown hair and wings to match.

He thought quietly about the logistics of that, how it would work out and nodded. "A cave home would be easy to hide. We would need to figure a way to vent smoke from cooking and a fireplace, as well as try to have an escape route in case things go south. Aside from that I think it is very doable, and it would be faster to build then building a standard cabin." He concluded as he thought of her final offer, to live with them. It made him uncertain to some degree. He wanted to spend time with Tory, to be a family and the big brother he never got to be. But he had no doubt it would be a big learning curve for him, that there would be fights between him and this Aves Sierra. She was beautiful and far kinder then anyone he had ever met, and he was terrified that he would hurt her. And that his sister who was far more attached to her then him would never forgive him for it. "I would love to live with you two but I am not sure I am cut out for it just yet. Perhaps I can help build and visit for now." He finally said a bit nervously, he just didn't know if he trusted himself that well.

Sierra offered "I could break the mountain rock to do those things." She studied him as he spoke, he sincerely cared about Tory, he saw. She saw his fear that he might mess up, that he would break someone's heart. Sierra knew he was good on the inside, and wished that perhaps one day he could move in with them, maybe become an Aves. Sierra replied softly, not wanting to make him any more nervous than he already was, "That's fine. We can start building it for now." She could use her ice to break the rock and create chutes for the chimney and escape routes, that wouldn't be a problem. She asked in that same soft and kind voice "When would you want to start building it?", her won opinion being they should commence as soon as possible to avoid Tory getting injured or worse by the next human attack.

"I think we should start as soon as possible, to keep her safe. Your that powerful? I had no idea, I mean I knew your kind could do things but I had no idea some of you were that strong." he said a bit in wonder, and concern. If any of the Aves found out about Tory being related to him he hoped they wouldn't turn on her. It also made him more anxious about his ability to protect her. "I can get materials easy enough, its just getting them up to the mountain. Or we could fell some trees nearby somehow. We will need to work that out somehow. Should we tell her the plan yet? Or wait?" He asked her trying to change the subject to hopefully ease his anxiety over the safety of his only family.

Sierra was relieved that he agreed with her, before nodding timidly. It would take a lot of energy but she could break rock. She added humbly "I can cut down the trees using ice shards, if you want." The whole thing was rather embarrassing for her. Of course he didn't think she was powerful, because she had knelt before him like a coward. Her heart turned bitter some, but she tried to stow it away, not feel anger towards him and herself for what had happened. She suggested quietly, trying to return to her normal self, "We could tell her now, so that she can be prepared for when the day comes."

Xylo walked alongside her, walking in peace until they reached the cabin. As he arrived, Luna called to him next to some stumps for some help in battling tactics. He whispered “Talk to you later Angel.” as he walked off to help her.
River nodded to him in goodbye. "Talk to you later," She paused and grinned. "Werewolf."
She walked up to Lucas and Eva, seeing Eva`s expression she said. "Would you like to go take a walk, Eva, while Lucas is skinning the deer?" I`d like to learn more about this girl. She thought.

Xylo gave her a playful glare, before muttering "Whatever, vampire."

Eva looked to her, and somewhat thankfully answered "Sure." She looked to Lucas, making sure that he was fine with that, before turning towards River so they could go for a walk.

River glanced at Lucas, who shot them both a smile. Turning, River led Eva. "So, what do you think of all this? Ya know, the others, being a Aves?"

Eva responded courteously "I like it a lot...everyone here is nice." She didn't voice her opinion of Stephen, because she didn't really know him yet. She voiced thankfully "Thank you for letting me stay."

Stephen came back with an arm full of wood. He walked inside & knelt down by the fire pit, making a fire. He put the wood in the shape of a teepee & lit it. He stood up and brushed his hands off on his shirt before sitting down again, trying to dry off.
