Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Luna joked “Shut up Persepolis. You are beautiful, and there’s really not much else to it.” She responded to the meditation comments, “Most definitely. I’ll try it today, especially since im trying to master the levitation.” With another squint, a result of another ray of sun hitting her eyes, she asked softly “Should we leave so that the sunlight doesnt melt us?” She opened the door at that, and waited for her to leave the warm room is she wanted to. If she didnt want she’d leave herself, as the sun had become irritating quickly.
Persepolis gave a small laugh at Luna's comment about her appearance, "Thanks, Luna. I appreciate it." Persepolis was also getting irritated at how bright and warm it was becoming in their room. "Yeah, let's leave. It's probably nicer outside." Persepolis exited the room, leading her and Luna down the stairs and outside. Once outside, Persepolis stretched her wings to their full length and gave a few powerful beats of her wings, creating strong gusts of wind that travelled in the opposite direction away from her and Luna. "Much better, I needed to stretch these things." Persepolis scanned the forest around them while she waited for Luna to say something.

Xylo read her like a book. He asked softly, not wanting to get forceful and intimidating with her, “Are you sure? You seem distressed.” He looked at her, his eyes inquisitive as he gazed upon her again.
River was silent for a second. "Everyone`s lives are spinning out of control. We`er just figuring out how to feed them, but there`s still plenty of other things." She paused. "We are surrounded by our enemies, and when winter comes we could freeze to death, just to name a few."

Xylo held her gaze softly, before responding confidently, "We'll figure it out River. We just started this, we have to be patient in learning. I know you're worried about everything, and I am too. But we have to trust that trying our best will be enough. As leaders, we have to build trust in our followers, so we should begin with that. Talk with them, let them trust us." He looked at her with a look that asked her if she understood. He added softly "See how we attained each other's trust, now we have to do that with the others."
