Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Luna shook her head simply, before adding softly “I wanted to make sure you were fine personally.” She looked around the camp, before asking thoughtfully “Anything I can get for you? Or help you with?”

"Mm hm." He said, not totally convinced if that was true or not. He looked confused when he asked that. "What? No thanks? Why do you ask that?"

Luna saw he doubted her true intentions in his mind. She responded sincerely “I just want to see if I can help. What Horius and Stephen, the two that attacked you, did to you, was awful. It isn’t fair and I wanted to see if I can help you somehow, that’s all. If you want, I can just leave.” Her eyes showed no portion of her real feelings, even though she inwardly wanted to stay and get to know him better.

"Is it normal for those two to attack people?" Alec asked her, walking over to a log he had found & sitting down. He kept an open body language, signaling that she could join him if she wanted, without actually saying so.

Luna dared to do just that, walking over to sit next to him, making sure there was enough space between them so that he didn’t feel like his personal space was violated. She explained, some disdain for the two in her voice, “Horius is a murderer. He murders people every day, so much we had to banish him from our group. And I never thought Stephen would do that to you, but maybe Horius convinced him or something. Still, that’s not an excuse.”

Hector smiled a little when she tightened her grip, his confidence boosted just a tad. Hector looked around with her, enjoying the nature surrounding the two, leaving them in peace. He voiced softly after a while, “Thank you for saying yes to coming.”
Persepolis could sense that Hector was a little more confident now. She closed her eyes for a second, enjoying the peaceful sounds and smells of nature. It was so nice out here and the moment felt just that much more special and private. When he thanked her, Persepolis responded softly, "You're welcome. Thank you for asking me." She gave him a soft smile.

"So you banished someone from the banished because he was killing people that you don't know? That doesn't make sense." Alec said, looking into the fire.

Luna responded slowly, after some thought about what he said, “It was dangerous, people would try to track him to us. And killing without purpose is wrong.” She looked over to him, her gaze meeting his. She wanted to see if he agreed or disagreed, or what his opinions on the matter were.

Hector smiled back, sincerely enjoying their company. He decided to let the sounds and smell of the nature surrounding them take over again, not wanting to disturb the wonder of the forest. He silently thanked Luna for pushing him to do this; the date had worked out, and here he was, holding her hand. He broke the silence after a few more minutes, asking bashfully “Is it true what Luna said? That you like me?” His head fell to the floor after the question, not bearing to meet her gaze again.

When Hector asked her his question, she gave his hand a comforting squeeze. She admitted timidly, blushing, "Its true what Luna said. I really do like you. A lot. I have for a while now." She stopped, trying to gently meet his gaze as she waited for what he would say.

"I can see that. Let's just hope he won't want to get revenge on you guys." Alec said, adding quickly "Not that I care. You guys are jerks."
