Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

(That’s fine I’m not judging XD)
Xylo got up, albeit slowly. Her smiled gave him comfort even though he knew it had been somewhat forced. River was clearly still affected by all of this, and he had to continue to be by her side. With a compassionate look, he embraced, stroking her hair in efforts to comfort her furthermore.
River hugged him tightly, burying her face in his shoulder. "Thank you." She murmured. Her heart beat began to go down, as it had been jumping from shock and pain.

Persepolis watched Luna take down the deer. When Luna spoke to her, she smiled and responded, "Thanks. I'm glad we have food now." She looked around, scanning the trees for anyone who wasn't supposed to be there. Seeing nothing, she walked over to the lifeless deer and reached down, yanking her machete out of its chest and sheathing it at her hip. She asked Luna, "Want me to carry it back?" She waited for an answer from her friend, the silence seeping into her.
Luna smiled in return, before responding "Me too, for that matter. I'm starving. and I'm sure the others are too." Luna also glanced around them, spying for any onlookers that shouldn't be there. She retrieved her knives using telekinesis, holstering them in a manner so that no blood spilled on her clothes. She then turned to Persepolis and asserted kindly, "No, I'm helping. Why else would I have come out here? Come, on, let's get it back." She prepared to carry the deer's upper body, squatting down to get a hold of it.

Xylo whispered in return, "You're welcome, my angel." He stroked her hair softly, not letting go until she decided to do so; he would provide all the emotional support River needed. With a quiet sigh, he rested his head on hers.

Persepolis nodded. She bent down and used her rope to tie the deer's back legs together. She then hoisted it's back half onto her shoulder. She waited for Luna.

"I can't tell you how thankful I am for you." River said, feeling gratitude for him well up inside of her.

Luna carried it as well, lofting up the front two legs. She asked back to Persepolis “So, do we give it to Stephen ? I don’t know if he likes me...” Luna thought about how he’d react if she approached him again.

Xylo whispered back soothingly “Words can’t explain how thankful I am for you either.” Those words were true, every single one of them. He kissed her head gently afterwards as a reiteration of his words for good measure.

Persepolis shook her head firmly, replying, "No. I don't think it's a good idea to be interacting with him right now. I'll clean and butcher this deer. I'm no stranger to it." She asked kindly, "Ready to go?"

After he kissed her, River pulled her head away to meet his eyes. "Do you mind if we go hunting or something?" She asked in a whisper shyly, casting a glance at Fola's and Kayla's dead bodies and the blood covering the ground. "I'd like to get away from here." She added quietly, looking back at him

Luna nodded, and stood up to begin the trek. They arrived about an hour later, after a long yet silent walk. She asked tiredly “Want me to give you a knife to cut it up?”
