Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Eva nodded, asserting slowly, not sure if this was a move she wanted to make yet or not, “I could take you to the Banished if you want. I live with them now.” In doing so, she placed trust that Brid wouldn’t betray her or the location of the Banished, But was that something realistic? She wondered...but everyone deserved a chance.

"You would do that!? Thank you so much!" Brid wanted to hug her, but didn't want to freak her out. "You can trust me, I promise. I can tell you're nervous..." she added the last part almost by accident. Pointing out when others were nervous was a bad habit of hers, and Eva's heart was beating quickly.

Eva smiled shyly, even though she was more confident that Brid wouldn’t do anything. With a swift motion of her hand, she began leading Brid to the House. She began explaining “There’s only about ten of us. We have two leaders, Xylo and River. They’re dating, and River’s pregnant.” She paused, making sure Brid had absorbed that information, before continuing “Do you remember them from the mansion?”

Persepolis let Hector draw her to him, smiling as he did so. When he spread his wings, clearly waiting for her, she met him. Her wings drifted up, filling the rest of the space around them. Their feathers touched and she rustled hers against his, creating that beautiful sound of their affection. When their wings closed around them they were once again alone, in the world of their own creation.
Hector smiled and closed his eyes as that sound waited through the air that filled the space between them. With a gentle motion, he closed the distance between them and placed his heads on hers, his eyes still closed. As he leaned over her, he whispered, loving affection in his voice, “Every moment with you makes me feel like in a fairy tale or something.” He gave a soft chuckle at his admitting that.

Alec nodded, & stayed silent. After a while, he finally looked at her. He saw she wasn't looking at him, & he looked away.
Luna noticed he had glanced at her, and turned to him with a timid expression, not wanting to cause any more conflict. She too stayed silent, awaiting him to look at her once again nervously.

Persepolis closed her eyes when he leaned over her. When he spoke, she wrapped her arms around his waist. She answered, "I feel the same way when I'm with you." She tilted her head, giving him a kiss. She didn't need to say anything to convey her emotions at that moment. The touching of their wings and their physical contact with each other was enough.

Alec looked back over at her. Why was he so upset? He barely knew her and the part of magic never came up, yet he was acting like it was a huge betrayal from one of his close friends. After all, it was his fault for not asking before, so why did he blame her?

"Mmhm, I do. River's pregnant? That's wonderful!" Then she sobered. "Only about ten? But I thought that more had been exiled than that..." Heartbeats began to come alive at the edges of her hearing, and she remembered how disoriented she was in large groups. The normal everyday chatter was much louder for her than anyone else.
(Hopefully no one will mind if Brid knows them already?:idunno:) )

Eva nodded, smiling as well in a double joy for River's sake. It seemed as if the whole group was coming together to celebrate the birth of River's child. Eva noticed her sudden soberness, and explained solemnly "From what I've been told, it took them a while to forma a group, and in that time a few of the Aves died." While she wasn't attached to the people that had perished, she didn't know if Brid was, so she maintained that serious expression as they walked.

Luna seemed to have been affected slightly by his sudden suspicion of her, so she looked down as he looked upon her. She offered quietly, disappointed in what had transpired, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have bothered you and taken up this much of your time.", referring to the hours they had spent talking. She truly didn't want to have imposed herself on him, and now she felt as if she had.
