Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Persepolis smiled back at Hector, revelling in the privacy they shared. She spoke quietly, "I'm really glad to be here with you right now. It makes me happy that you really want to spend time with me." She blushed, not breaking her gentle eye contact with him. Persepolis added in a tone of mild disbelief, "It's amazing how far we've come in so short of a time in terms of our confidence around each other." She chuckled, "Not that I'm complaining."
Hector smiled at her blush, loving that scarlet shade that appeared on her cheeks when she spoke to him. He agreed with every word she said, and voiced this silently as she explained "I'm a little surprised you would want to spend time with a quiet and shy person like me, but I'm extremely glad that you do." His wings brushed some more against her as he shifted his weight from his right foot to his left, sending pleasant shivers down his spine. He whispered "That sound is amazing, I can understand why so many of the Aves did it at the mansion."

Alec loosened his grip on the slingshot, until his hand was just sitting loosely on it. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted so... upset. I made a bigger deal of you having powers than it is, but that is no excuse. No, you didn't waste my time." Alec said. It was a little easier to apologize to her than it was for him to apologize to someone else. He looked at her, letting her know he meant what he said.
Luna nodded hesitantly, wondering if his words were true. She contemplated the question for a few minutes, letting the silence fill the space in between them. Why had he accepted her the first time she came without even knowing her? Most likely because he had seen her first aid she had brought with her...not because he had liked her, which had been her hope. Oh well, perhaps it wouldn't work out, something more than a friendship between the two, but she was still in question about his motives for letting her stay. She suddenly blurted out, "Why did you let me stay all this time? Is there something about me?"

Persepolis smiled, answering legitimately, "I want to spend time with you because you're so wonderful and amazing. Just like the sounds of our wings touching." She stepped a little closer, causing their wings to rustle again as she moved. She spoke after a moment, "it is a really amazing sound. Like a physical confirmation of attraction." she squeezed his hands lightly, waiting on his response.

Alec looked surprised when she asked that question. He thought about it for a few minutes, before replying, "It's boring being alone here everyday, all day, with no one to talk to beside the animals, & the day I talk to them is the day I loose my sanity. It's nice to hang out with someone human-ish." That was just part of the reason Alec let her stay, the other part was that he actually liked her.

Luna nodded, that did make sense. She didn't press him further, she already believed he didn't like her like that, and had accepted the fact that there was a strong personality she would simply have to visit him as a friend. Luna didn't want to make things awkward for him, especially after hearing what he had just confessed. She realized that her coming here to simply converse with him meant much more than just speaking, and she was going to be there for him when he needed to have a word with someone else. As the silence enveloped the area once again, she began fantasizing about Alec as an Aves, losing her mind in selecting what wings he would have.

Alec watched her get lost in thought. "What are you thinking about?" He asked softy.

Hector smiled at her kind words, which he sensed came from the heart - she wasn't lying, there was no way. Once he heard that rustle once again, he instinctively took a step further to close some more distance between them. Alluding to her last comment regarding their attraction to each other, he whispered a soft "Exactly", before taking her hand delicately and kissing the back of it as if they were in medieval times, him a prince and her a princess. He then held her hand rubbing against her knuckles affectionately as they simply enjoyed beholding one another.

A gentle and wonderful shiver went up Persepolis' back as he kissed the back of her hand and touched her. She was loving it. She silently placed her other hand on his shoulder, her arm pressing gently against that side of his chest. She blushed again, her eyes finding his. She didn't need to say anything right now, the moment was perfect without words.
