Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Xylo reached for her other hand, slowly reeling her in closer to him, his gaze not leaving her eyes. His grip was gentle and delicate, not wanting to bring up memories of the past, but instead wanting to forge new ones. He responded quietly “I’m a broken man, who has killed and regretted it. Who has ignored people who needed me. Who has played with people’s emotions. I’m just a sinner.” He paused, before continuing “And I don’t care what you’ve done. Because it’s what you do now that counts. And from what I’ve seen, you deserve every second of my kindness.” He paused in his sentence, before concluding “And love.”
River`s eyes got wide as he brought her to him. "And I`m just an un-social Ave who murders and doesn`t like my fellows." Her eyes got wider. "Kindness?" She shivered. "Love?"

Luna rolled her eyes at her ignorance, responding “Those! I’ve seen those all the time. I thought they were called like “water dogs” or something”, self deprecating herself a bit by playing off of her ignorance. She smiled, followed by “There’s some by a stream about a mile away. Want to go there?”
"Sure, let's go there to get some." Persepolis agreed.
Conversationally, she asked Luna, "What interests or hobbies do you have?"

Xylo maintained his relaxed composure, she was definitely new to this. He gently squeezed her hand and assured “I’ve murdered too. And I don’t care what you’ve done. All you’ve done to me is show me kindness, and that’s all I care about.” Xylo whispered coarsely, emotions running through his body, “After our parents died, no one has ever loved us, with the exception of Lucas and whatever friends you had. But I’ve had no one.” Xylo brought her a bit closer, whispering softly “Do you understand?”

"Sure. Of course!" Persepolis answered excitedly. She lived for this. "Hm... Let's see..." She mumbled, looking around the forest for a good place to start. "Aha," she breathed, spotting a good area.
She took off running faster than most people could run, pressing her wings against her body to keep herself from using them. Somersaulting over a fallen log, she took a high vertical jump as soon as she landed, catching a limb of a nearby tree close to the base. In a quick twist, she pushed off the trunk of the tree, catching the trunk of another tree several yards away. She pushed herself off, landing on a slope, sliding down it on her feet for a second. She took off running, managed a backflip and hung a sharp right just as she landed.
Making her way back to Luna, she flipped off several large rocks spaced feet away from each other. Just as she was about to reach her, she lept, grabbed a low hanging limb, swung off and did three mid-air twists.
She landed 2 feet in front of Luna on her feet. With a grin, she asked, "How's that?"

Why can’t we love each other?”
Thoughts pounded through River`s head, could she trust him? Why did he want to love her? Why did he care to? Was he telling the truth?
She squeezed his hand back. "I never said we couldn`t love each other." She said softly, sweetly, and... un-surely.

Xylo whispered softly “What will I do to gain your trust my angel?” With that he was done talking, and done listening to his doubts.Xylo brought her in closer, and slowly leaned in to kiss her, delicately as before, a chaste kiss, a first kiss. He was calm and gentle, careful, to the girl who had endured so much in her life, who deserves love but had never gotten it.

Luna answered with a wilderness expression “Um, amazing!” She asked with a smile “Who taught you all that? Some grandmaster?” She leaned against a tree, but kept the focus on her, genuinely intrigued now about this “parkour”.
