Horius asked quietly, changing the subject "I'm sorry you had to see me kill that hunter. You shouldn't have to see all that. I'm not calling you weak or anything, it's just...no kid should have to see that."
River looked at him. "Don`t be." She shrugged. "And I`m hardly a kid anymore. You were doing what you had to, to protect The Banished." She paused. "But tell me, was that the hunter who killed Camilla?" She asked, her voice emotionless. A image of her friend dead and bleeding on the ground flashed in her head and she suppressed a shudder, Camilla, unlike Natalie who had died of the cold, had been killed by a Hunter.

Horius responded quietly "You're only 13." He pondered her question, before remembering that same man run up with a group and unload on the children. The loud spray of noise, the screams, the silence. The red-stained brick and the biting cold. He responded solemnly "One of them. There were three of them. We just met him on accident to be frank, River."

A snarl came from River`s throat. "Accident or not, Horius, he was still the murdering snake who killed a kid who never did anything to him."

(I is back! And is sorry for leaving... Bus was supposed to come at 3... It came at 3:30... So yeah.)

Raquel jumped up, unsheathing her battleaxe. "Wha?!?!? Who are you?" The first came as a strangled yelp, the second as a snarl.

Eva quickly fell off the bench, ready for a fight if need be. She muttered somewhat nervously and annoyingly "My name's Eva. I'm sorry to scare you."

Horius replied bluntly "I know. And that's why I killed him. But were we looking for him specifically? I wasn't. But see, now he's dead. He's payed for his actions."
River nodded, then looked up at the night sky. Black clouds were gathering overhead. "There is going to be a bad storm I think. If I`m correct, we don`t have enough time to get back to the others. We should find shelter." She said, looking back at him. "I think I saw a small cave not far from here that we can shelter in."
(Is it okay if there is a bad storm?)

(Yup, no problem) Horius nodded, standing up to follow her, smiling at her determined nature. She would survive, he told himself. His eyes turned to the woods, making sure no one was near them. He would not let another one die on his watch.

With a glance, River set off, walking through the forest, she led him. They quickly came upon a small cave. "Here we are." She said, satisfied. Realizing she was still carrying the dead rabbit, she stuffed it into one of her larger inner jacket pockets. She walked in, glancing around to make sure no one else was there, and no one was. She turned to the mouth of the cave to look out. "I hope the others are okay..." She muttered to herself, not quiet realizing that she spoke out-loud.
