Lucas laughed. "Ha, challenge accepted." He paused. "Eh, not." He added quietly.

"Nothing." Lucas said, his eyes dancing with amusement. "Uh hu." River said suspiciously as she walked by and into the cabin. Lucas followed her in. "I ship you two." He whispered in her ear as he walked by. "What?" Lucas ignored her and kept walking further inside. River looked down at Trodaire. "What is he talking about now?"

(Lucas isn’t any fun lol. Come on...a handsome Aves with long hair vs. you, it’s perfect for a show off XD) Xylo shook his head at the antics of Lucas. He had to be realistic. River would never want him. And he couldn’t dare say yes, could he? What if she died? Then he’d be so broken that he...he wouldn’t know what to do.

Persepolis entered the cabin after the others. "I made you all beds, you should be able to sleep now." She said, pointing at the beds of fir tree limbs.

(Lol Xylo’s a quiet extrovert...if that’s a thing.) Xylo shook his head, stating casually “Don’t worry about it. He just wants us to...never mind.” With that, he ended it on a cliffhanger, not finding enough will in him to continue...it was too risky.

Persepolis went over to the fire, stoking it with enough wood to last the rest of the night and into the morning.
She took off her trench coat and laid it across the limbs of one of the beds as best as she could. Curling up on her side, facing the fire, she ignored the others and attempted to go to sleep.

Xylo smiled some, before looking out the cracks in the roof to the moon once again. Tomorrow would be hard, hw told himself. But perhaps it would be a good day. Maybe he’d try to push some of boundaries, if his stubborn self ever let up.
