Horius thanked him, eating it. He muttered thankfully “If you ever need something, I owe you. Appreciate it Hector.”

Xylo gathered his few belongings, before spreading his wings, calling out “Ill scout the area, make sure it’s safe. I’d say it’s about ten miles away.”

River nodded. "Understood." She said. Walking over to the broken open window, she whispered to a sparrow. "Follow him." It seemed to nod.

"We could stagger our departure." Persepolis interrupted. "And split up."

"Anyone who has a small enough load to put it on them will turn into birds and keep to canopy level and spread out, but stay in sight. Except Lucas, he`s going wolf. Anyone who has a large load will stay in Aves form but still fly, just a little lower. They will also spread out, but stay in sight." River replied calmly.

"Taking different paths is what I had in mind, too." Persepolis agreed. "If possible, two people should take each path together. That way if any group runs into trouble, there are two of us. Two sets of eyes are better than one."
