Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Raquel's eyes remained on the ground.

Raquel glanced up as she sensed movement, and froze.

Raquel, following Eva's lead, slowly, and rreluctantly, unsheathed her axe and laid it on the ground.

Raquel nodded vigorously. She slowly began to speak. "I-- I was a hunter. I thought that you were-- different. I didn't realize you were jut like us."
Persepolis nodded again. Her guard was still up, but she moved a few steps closer to the hunters, in a non-intimidating manner.
Luna followed warily, not quite sure she trusted them, but she would back Persepolis no matter what.

Horius slowly moved his hand to brush against her cheek, quietly admitting "And even more so when you blush." With a gentle touch to her chin, he moved it upward, looking into her eyes before he closed them and kissed her, once more, in the secret of the waterfall's cavern, hidden by the curtain of water. No one would find them, no one would hurt them. They were safe, alone, with nothing but each other's love, blooming like a flower after the first raindrops of spring. And that was all he needed. Her.
River watched his face as they kissed, and squeezed his hands, which were much bigger than her small, delicate ones. Her heart pumped faster and faster, as if it wanted to break free of her. Oh how she wished she could trust this man to trust`s fullest extent, but there was still those ropes from her past, still clinging to her skin so tight that she couldn`t cut through them yet.

Time was no more. It had been destroyed, lost in the void of their kiss, their sign of love amidst their fear, their worries, their doubts. But everything was forgotten in their moment of love. Put to rest by a blanket of pure love for each other. His lower half was warmed by the pleasant ripples of the water, while his top half, skin bare to the air of the cave, was warmed by the pleasure of what they were sharing. While they kissed, he brought her waist closer until they were as close as possibly, softly pressing against each other, the water drops of one Ave rolling onto the other.

When he finally pulled away, he simply stared at her. She was his queen, strong, and beautiful, and ruthless. And he loved her, he would shed blood for her. His eyesight rested on her, adoring his queen, his angel. Words could not describe the feelings that he felt for her as she stood in front of him, the roaring water of the waterfall enforcing her majesty.

River looked lovingly at him, her heart began to slow. She knew one thing, he would never hurt her willingly. But what if she accidentally hurt him? And what if he knew her past? Would he still look at her with kindness? Joke with her the same way? Still show her love? Or would he just see her as the murderer she was?
"Thank you for being so kind to me." She whispered lovingly.

History: Casimir moved with his family to Montana when he was younger. For most of his young life he didn't realize why they really moved, or what his family really did. However as he got older he learned the truth about his family, that all of them were hunters and as such expected him to follow in their foot steps. As he got older and he learned how to hunt and hunt well with his family he realized that while he did it with his family because that is what they wished, he didn't enjoy the killing. Especially when what they hunted sometimes didn't fight back. One day he was sent off to gather supplies for a big hunt, his father had gotten a tip on something huge. While he was out someone torched his home and killed all of his family. He found a Aves feather nearby and assumed, wrongfully so that it was their fault for his family deaths. He spent the next several years hunting and destroying every Aves he found. He threw himself into his work and vowed to make them pay. But what will he do when he finds out that he has been making the wrong people pay for the death and devastation of his family?
Personality: Casimir is actually a fairly nice and outgoing person once you get to know him. He has been known to be a flirt and a charmer at times when he lets his guard down. But to see those things in him he has to warm up to a person first, let down the facade of a cold, harsh killer first. He never wanted to be a hunter but did so for his family, at their death he let his sadness and anger rule him and fuel his hunt further. That was when he started shutting down and enjoying the hunt. But deep down he is still the same man he always was, he just needs someone to show him who he truly is and help him mend the two halves of the person he has become.
Weapon: He uses many weapons in his ever changing hunt. He has a small compound crossbow that he uses when he needs to be silent. He also has a pair of small knives that his keeps strapped to his thighs for close quarters fights. He also carries a pistol in a under arm holster for a quick kill.
Hunter or To Be Transformed:Currently a human hunter, if he changes later we will deal with it when it happens. lol

Xylo whispered back, his tone loving, pouring out for her and her only, "You deserve my love." His only pain was that she still didn't trust him fully; he felt it. He felt the inkling of doubt left in her soul, how he wanted to crush it, burn it to ashes. Let nothing stand between the two. With a affectionate look, he inched closer to give her forehead a delicate kiss.

"No, I don`t. But you deserve mine." River whispered back. She wished she could let go, but right now, she couldn`t. Oh how she wished.

Luna followed warily, not quite sure she trusted them, but she would back Persepolis no matter what.

Persepolis carefully assessed them, her eyes flicking back and forth between the two hunters. They seemed genuine in their claims that they wouldn't hurt them, but she was still being cautious.
"I believe you that you aren't here to hurt us," Persepolis stated. "And I think it's pretty great that you two just want to study us. I'd much rather that humans be intent on studying us rather than killing us." She cracked a smile at that.
Persepolis risked a glance at Luna. She was protective of her, she'd admit. Luna was her friend, and she wouldn't let anybody harm her friend.
Turning her attention back to the hunters, she visibly relaxed her previously tense muscles. "I respect both of you right now so much as both of you respect the two of us." She spoke with an air of confidence.
Persepolis sat down, motioning for the humans to do the same. Persepolis gave a look to Luna that communicated that she could sit if she wanted, stand, or walk away.
She spoke, "I can only speak for myself here but I am willing to answer any questions that you may have, lest not be too personal." She paused. "If you're going here to study us you're going to need answers."

"No, I don`t. But you deserve mine." River whispered back. She wished she could let go, but right now, she couldn`t. Oh how she wished.
Xylo looked down at her with sympathetic eyes, whispering "Why? Why can't we just admit we deserve each other's love? Why am I not worthy for you and you not worthy for me?" He paused, asking softly "Why can't we just...let go?"
