Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Seeing, the human observing the area, Sierra stayed put, hoping his eye, which hadn’t caught her before, wouldn’t do the same now. Every time he looked away, she crept father and farther away from him, moving the snow using magic so no footsteps showed whatsoever, masking her path.
He heard a branch snap and saw some snow move out of the corner of his eye. He turned that direction and moved forward, drawing his crossbow again as he crept forward quietly. "Come on out, I know you are there. I can feel you even if I can't see you." He said into the silence of the forest.

Luna sighed as they left “That was stressful. And Horius is going to get us killed, mark my words.”
"I was right that he's dangerous." Persepolis breathed. "And he is going to get us killed if he's not careful. I think he needs to be talked to, even if he doesn't want to hear it. He needs to understand that he's endangering the rest of us." She was furious but was trying her best to mask her emotions.
She walked over to her weapons and picked them up, sheathing her machete and slinging her bow onto her back.

Sierra did as the voice asked, slowly peeking out from the bush, realizing much too late that what she had done would cost her her life. He was only about ten yards away now, and her body was frozen with fear. With a trembling voice, as she spread her wings and prepared to fly away, she pleaded “Please don’t hurt me.”, only then noticing he had a crossbow, which would shoot her down from the sky in a second. And permanently ruin her wing. If she needed to fight, the snow and ice would help her, but that was something she didn’t want to experience.

Luna thought out loud, gathering her weapons from the tree as she did so, “But he always kills those he meets. How would they know how he looks like? I guess someone must’ve seen him from afar.” She shuddered at the thought of that, seeing the killer from afar, with no chance to intervene. With a quiet whisper, she explained “But I’m scared to talk to him. He could most likely murder us all in minutes, with Xylo being his only true challenge. I’ve seen him in battle. It’s like he was made for it or something.”

"You don't have to talk to him. He should really be handled by the leaders anyway." Persepolis sighed. "And if they won't talk to him, I will. He might try to attack me, but he'd have to catch me first. Which even for him would be a challenge." She paused, realizing that he still had an advantage over her. "He does have that gun, though...." She trailed off.
"I just don't want to see him get us all killed."

Casimir was taken aback a bit by her beauty as she stepped out of cover and her saw her fully. He recovered quickly though and laughed at her stupidity at coming out of her spot. "The white one of the mountains. I have heard about you, your the reason no one comes up this far. You know how much I could get for your death? The acclaim for bringing you in?" He questioned as he considered his luck at finding her.

Luna nodded. She shook her head, responding “Forget all that for now. We need berries for those pancakes.” She looked around for the strawberry bush. Yup, right behind them. With a small smile, she walked over, and began handpicking some more of the berries, enjoying herself once again, but more wary that they might have visitors. When she had picked suffice, she dropped them into the tote bag, which admittedly smelled delicious, and waited for Persepolis to finish picking her bunch.

Xylo looked down at her with sympathetic eyes, whispering "Why? Why can't we just admit we deserve each other's love? Why am I not worthy for you and you not worthy for me?" He paused, asking softly "Why can't we just...let go?"
"I`m trying to let go." River whispered. (I ain`t got much in me to post rn XD)

Sierra reasoned quickly, desperately trying to persuade him not to attack her, pleading once again, in earnest of one who faces death, “Please don’t hurt me. Just let me go. I’ll do anything.” She had already begun backing up, trying to slowly back around the corner of the mountain, which would give her enough cover to fly off. She could use ice walls as barriers if need be, as well, but she didn’t know how potent his weapon was. Her eyes pleading for mercy at the hands of the Hunter, she slowly back away, her heartbeat increasing by the second as the long-haired man neared.

"You're right," Persepolis agreed, "Let's forget about it for now." She went back to enjoying herself picking berries, but was aware of every noise around her.
After picking a fair deal, she added them to the bag.
