Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

"Just follow me, and who cares if they dont trust you, people rarely trust others now adays" Eclipsa smiles and walks out of the cave.

(I can no brain anymore I might go soon)
Virio followed, confused as to what he was getting himself into. But if it meant getting a chance with Eclipsa, then perhaps it would be worth it. He followed her to wherever she was going, walking alongside her, glancing around for anyone who might try to harm them. He asked, genuinely interested in her response, "Why do you want me to go back with you?", stopping, not proceeding until he heard her answer.

(ok, I’ll be on tmrw if u wanna continue)

(It’s fun, I’ll admit...)
Luna agreed “Good idea.” She added afterwards, with humor, “But you’re still getting the first taste, because I care about you so much.”
"I'm fine with that," Persepolis answered, smiling. "But you will get the largest pancake. because I care about you just as much." She grabbed the turkey baster and walked back to fire, sticking it in the flames for a few minutes to sterilize it.

Luna smiled, glad to have made such a good friend. She walked over to Persepolis and voiced quietly “Thank you so much for being a great friend, it really means a lot.” She provides a smile to emphasize her appreciation, before looking to the fire.

Persepolis smiled, "Thank you for being such a good friend to me, too." She really appreciated having such a good friend as Luna. Persepolis hadn't had a friend for almost as long as Luna.
She watched the flames jump and display their colors. Soon, the Cattails would be ready.
(I'll continue RPing tomorrow. I have to get some sleep. Goodnight!)

(goodnight, sleep well!) Luna sat down and looked out the window, her mind reverting back to Eclipsa again. She wondered where the girl was, and if she still existed. For all she knew, she could've been dead for days. But something told her it would be different this time. that this time someone would return, very much alive, well and breathing.

Sierra reasoned quickly, desperately trying to persuade him not to attack her, pleading once again, in earnest of one who faces death, “Please don’t hurt me. Just let me go. I’ll do anything.” She had already begun backing up, trying to slowly back around the corner of the mountain, which would give her enough cover to fly off. She could use ice walls as barriers if need be, as well, but she didn’t know how potent his weapon was. Her eyes pleading for mercy at the hands of the Hunter, she slowly back away, her heartbeat increasing by the second as the long-haired man neared.
He saw what she was trying to do, distract him long enough to slip out of sight and away before he could shoot her. He followed after her, enjoying in some part of his brain the fear he caused in those innocent eyes. "Anything huh? That is pretty broad and leaves a lot of options." He taunted as he followed her slowly, keeping her firmly in his sights. "Tell me, you wish me to spare your life, why? Why should I let you live?" He asked honestly curious to her answer.

Sierra continued backing up slowly, her weight moving the snow beneath her as she neared the cliff were she originally planned to take of. She had been backing up, increasing the pace slightly as he started following. She mused, her mind racing to answer his question, her soft eyes settling on his, begging for mercy. She found a little hint of sympathy in those grey eyes of his. She asked in desperation, "What do you want?", With a tremulous voice, she proposed a final plea: "Please. Anything you want." Her body tremble, not from the cold, but from the sentiment of death that seemed to settle in around her.

Luna did as Persepolis had asked, closing her eyes for a few seconds as a sign that he had done it.

Eva nodded, asking "So you are given the power at birth? And is it true that humans can be transformed into Aves?", trying to conceal all her feelings about the questions, especially the second one. She focused on Persepolis, but made sure to glance over at Raquel every few seconds to make sure she was fine or that she hadn't interrupted.

Persepolis saw Luna's signal, but didn't make a move to acknowledge it because she didn't want to alert the humans.
Persepolis took a few breaths, stealing herself to develop her answer. She flicked her gaze to Luna, making sure she wasn't interrupting. She talked calmly, clearly. "It is true that humans can be transformed into Aves." She omitted the fact that it could be against their will. "As for your first question, if we are born Aves then we get our powers at birth. If a human is transformed, they get their power when they transform." She didn't tell them that the power usually pertained to the bird they were modeled after. She wasn't about to give them that advantage, in case it would be to her and Luna's detriment.

Eva listened attentively, mentally taking down everything she said, jotting it down on invisible paper. Once Persepolis had finished talking, she asked another question. She asked quietly "Do you know of an Aves with long dark brown hair (PS it's Horius)? He seems to be killing off hordes of humans in the area, and wanted to see if you knew him.", knowing whatever answer she got would most likely be a lie to mask his identity, but it was worth a try.

Persepolis looked at Luna, a look of concern on her face that only Luna saw.
Her heart was racing, but her voice was calm, non-commital.
"I know of him." Was all she said, not clarifying if she knew his name or not, or if she ever really saw him.
"I'm sorry that he's killing so many people." She meant it. She was appalled by Horius' behavior.

Eva nodded grimly. She was scared of Horius. All the rumors that went around the camps and towns. She shivered slightly, as if a breeze had passed by or something. With a hushed whisper, she asked somberly “Why does he do it?”

Luna looked at the floor in disgust at Horius’ actions, but didn’t speak a word, contemplating whether she should speak up or not. She wanted to feel sorry for Horius, she knew he had a ruined past. But he never showed emotion, not once.

"I wish I knew why he did it" Persepolis answered. "But I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you. If it's any solace to you, I will tell you that I don't approve of his actions. Most of us don't think like he does."
Persepolis stopped talking, leaving the conversation open for someone else to get a word in.

Luna chimes in suddenly, confidence regained. She stared them both down, asking with a cold face “Do you promise not to tell anyone else you saw us? Because if you do....”

Eva averted her attention to the other Ave’s attention. With somewhat of a nervous voice, she promised “I promise I won’t tell anyone we’ve seen you at all.” After that, the silence between the four was all that could be heard, waiting for someone else to chime in.

"Good," Persepolis replied. "And in return, we won't tell our friends that we saw you." Implying that they could be in danger if the others knew.
"With that, are there any more questions? Or are we done here?" She inquired.
She wouldn't admit it, but she was hoping they were wrapping up their interview. She wasn't too sure of herself that she wouldn't give too much away if they kept talking. Plus, humans didn't interest her that much. She had bigger things on her mind, like making food.

Eva could sense she wanted to leave, and nodded quickly, motioning to Raquel they should probably leave. After a wave and a kind smile, she left the two in solitude, the two of them disappearing into the woods.

Luna sighed as they left “That was stressful. And Horius is going to get us killed, mark my words.”
Raquel followed Eva, mulling over what she had heard. She picked up their weapons after they had left and handed Eva's to her. "Huh. The safety's on." she remarked.

(I might make another charrie, but I'm not good with relationships, especially of two characters I play together. Besides, he's not social enough to get a date)
(He and Hector can be lonely together.)
