Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

"Lead the way," Persepolis said softly, waiting for him to move.
(That's fine.)
Hector moved towards the door. "The first thing you have to do is to find the right stick." he said. He picked up one of the felled boughs. "Give this a swing."(I have no actual idea how to make a club, so bear with me lol)

(Me neither lol.)
Persepolis took the stick from him, feeling the weight of it in her hand. "Not too heavy, not too light," She said aloud. Taking a step back from Hector so as not to hit him, she lifted the stick, giving it a full, purposeful swing. She handled the weight well, and it cut through the air like a hot knife through butter.
"I think this will work well for me. It's a comfortable weight and I can control it well." She said to Hector, waiting to see if he approved.

Hector nodded approvingly. "That's a good one. The next part is too cut off the little bits, the ones which cause drag, but don't do anything. See, this one-" he pointed to a sprig of leafy twig-"is the same size as this one-" he motioned to a knob on the branch- "but we need to trim the first one an not the second, because the first one will just bend."

Using her machete, she trimmed off the sprig that Hector motioned to. "Like that?" She asked him.

He nodded. "Yeah. See, I told you it wasn't that hard." He sat down and motioned for her to do the same, pulling off the twigs.
She sat down next to him
"It still requires creativity," she said in a light tone. "and I'm not creative at all. If you don't believe me, my first fish's name was Mr. Bubbles." She laughed, shaking her head at the statement.
