Eva crawled up to him and dared to lay against his chest, feeling the warmth and hearing the heartbeat of it echo in her ear. She folded her wings delicately so she didn't bump into him as she lay against his chest, closing her eyes slowly, apprehensive that he might not like it.

Xylo muttered simply "that's just what I was thinking." Xylo simply added "We just need to be ready for that day, whenever it comes. That's all." He muttered teasingly "Luckily my vampire will drink all the enemy's blood."

Lucas went stiff for a second, then relaxed. He wrapped his arms around her.

River nodded. "We`ll make sure we`er ready." She gave him a quizzical look at the last part. "Drink their blood? You just had to make it weird."

Eva simply laid snuggled against him in the dark, breathing softly. She whispered softly, her eyes still closed as she laid against his chest "Thank you Lucas. For everything you've done."

Xylo laughed, explaining "You're a vampire. It's what you do, remember?" In a look of fake disgust, he frowned at her, and choked out exaggeratedly "You....drink. Blood?!" He began backing away as if he was scared, joking with her.

Eva simply laid snuggled against him in the dark, breathing softly. She whispered softly, her eyes still closed as she laid against his chest "Thank you Lucas. For everything you've done."

Lucas smiled down at her. "As I said before, there`s nothing you need to thank me for."

River`s eyes twinkled and she grinned. "Oh, yes, of coarse. I drink blood." She added seriously. "You better stay away from me, or I might drink your`s."

Eva smiled and simply laid there in his lap. She didn't say anything, and wouldn't unless he did.

Xylo kept backing away, until he made himself trip on purpose and started crawling backwards away from her. He began begging for mercy dramatically, trying not to break character.

River took a step forward, then broke down laughing, til it shook her body. "Fine..." More laughs. "I won`t drink your blood." She wheezed with laughter, trying to stand up straighter, since she was bent over laughing.

Luna listened to every word, her heart growing saddened at every word. The last sentence of her speech hit her hard. Luna had been trusted for once. She had never been trusted. Instead of providing some kind remark, Luna betrayed all of her cold nature and walked over to embrace her softly. Luna and Persepolis both had gone through awful childhoods, but they had both grown, it seemed. She wished that Persepolis could fall in love with Hector, be happy. Whatever it took for her to be happy, that's what she wanted.
(I'm so sorry for the delay. I wrote out a long post and my computer died, so you have this now. I'm really sorry.)

Persepolis was slightly shocked to be hugged, but happy. She returned Luna's embrace. She didn't need to say anything, no words were needed here.

Eva eventually fell asleep in his arms, softly breathing into his chest. She was in a state of bliss, away from the battle that raged in the woods, away from any pain or hurt, just there with him. His arms gave her comfort, assurance as she left. She found reliance in him.

Xylo slowly got up, smiling happily at her laughter and at their joke. He thanked her sarcastically "thank you vampiress for sparing me. I am forever indebted to you." He chuckled as he thought of her being a vampire.

Persepolis was slightly shocked to be hugged, but happy. She returned Luna's embrace. She didn't need to say anything, no words were needed here.

Luna pulled away after a few more seconds. She returned to her bed, sitting down on it softly, before vowing "I'll always be here for you Persepolis. We never had someone to rely on as children, now we have each other as friends." Luna admitted silently how much that friendship meant to her personally. She felt so much debt to Persepolis, who had indirectly taken a lot of her problems upon herself by accepting that friendship. Wanting to change the subject to something more lighthearted, she asked "Hey Persepolis, want to see that knife thing I told you about?"

She said, cheerfully, "I'd love to see that new skill of yours. It sounds epic!" She was honestly excited to see her new trick.
