Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Xylo smiled, spreading his and taking off. He waited for her to follow, flapping his wings in place to hover without moving. Once she followed, they took off side by side in the air towards the waterfall. The air flung his hair behind him as they flew, flowing behind him like Aladdin's carpet.
River took off, their wing-tips brushing. Her wings caught the wind as she flew, soaring over the trees.
A strong side wind hit her, sending her tumbling through the air. She moved her wings swiftly, and was barely able to right herself and fly back to his side.

Persepolis responded in mock hurt, "I'm not trying to show off, I'm just rockin' what my momma gave." She cracked up and watched Luna comb out her hair. She said aloud, "And your hair isn't boring, I think it looks very nice on you." Persepolis thought Luna looked great, and hoped that someday a nice guy would think that Luna herself was just as great.
Luna smiled thankfully, before voicing it by stating "Thanks Persepolis.", her word nothing but truth. Luna looked around casually, before responding "Honestly, I don't know if I'll ever find anyone. I'm too cold sometimes, you haven't seen how I normally act." She added a bit sadly "The cold girl who glared at you the first day you came is the actual me.

Xylo flew alongside her, landing at the waterfall a little while later. As they landed alongside the shore, he began stripping his top layers as the day was warm. He slowly waded in, looking back at River with an excited look. He was ecstatic to share time with her at their special place.

Persepolis moved to stand next to Luna, "You're welcome," she said genuinely. Persepolis listened attentively, her heart growing sad at Luna's words. She felt bad that Luna had so little confidence in herself. "I think you will one day find the right man for you. A gentleman who will truly understand you." She added, "I understand that who you are around me and who you are around people you trust less is different. I don't know what to tell you and I don't know what you want to hear, but what I will tell you is that the cold girl who met me on my first day here didn't seem too cold to me."

River took off her shoes and slid her jacket off. She dived in, splashing him. She surfaced, grinning, she knew she had splashed him.
She swam backwards, watching and smiling at him.

Xylo followed her menacingly, pretending to be a wolf again. He pounced on her, dragging her down into the water with her. He looked at her with mischievous eyes underwater, before swimming away as fast she could, before she could splash him back. He stood afterwards, facing her if she came back for retaliation.

River swam underwater, then popped up beside him, splashing him as she did so. "Two to one." She snickered, then quickly splashing him again. "Make that three to one."

Luna smiled bleakly at her praise, not sure if she believed her words. She knew she didn't believe in herself, but she had no reason to. She had too much evidence that stopped her from doing that. All the people she had shut out of her life, the people she had abandoned. Luna thought herself as a horrible person, and there was unfortunately not very much that could change that. She hated to know that's how she thought, but the chances of her meeting this "gentleman" were small. It broke her heart thinking so, but she couldn't do anything about it, it seemed to be forged into her history, her mindset, her soul.
