Persepolis responded somberly, "Unfortunately, you are right. I don't know about you, but I'd still want to try in a world like this." She added in a very serious tone, "If I ever have children I will do everything in my power to protect them. I would die before I'd let anyone harm them." Persepolis drew her knees up to her chest. She also would be heartbroken if she ever lost a child. Her human and animal sides were conflicted over the idea of raising offspring in the future. Her human side said no because of the dangers but her animal side wanted to raise progeny with a partner. She sighed.

Luna nodded, replying confidently, her animal side taking over, "I would try to. And I would kill with no hesitation to protect them." She then thought about Alec, and how she probably would never have children with him. He seemed like the type of person that didn't want to be an Aves, and she didn't know if anything would work out. Only time would tell, she supposed.

Luna smiled, hoping what she said was true as well. She replied in the same candid manner, "I hope everything between you and Hector work out too, and I'm positive you'd be a great mother." She thought some more, before adding earnestly, "I think I'd go back to being a warm person if I had children. It would force me to leave behind my coldness."

Xylo looked down at her with a thankful smile, whispering sincerely “I would fight a hundred men just to see that loving gaze.” It was true, her look was so perfectly genuine, so unblemished. It was clear it came from the heart, and that warmed his.

River pulled him into another embrace, hugging him tight. "I can`t tell you how happy and thankful you make me."

Persepolis smiled, responding happily, "I hope you're right. And I'm sure children would help you be warmer." She paused, not sure what else to say. She ended up changing the subject, pointing out, "We should probably go hunting tomorrow. Nobody has eaten all day."

Luna smiled, responding "Yes, you're right. Maybe we leave in the morning if that's fine with you." She yawned, explaining tiredly "I might go to bed if that's ok with you? I'm dead, still tired after all this stuff going on."

Persepolis nodded, "Sounds good to me." When Luna mentioned sleep, she responded, "Go ahead and sleep. I'm exhausted, too." Persepolis went over to her own bed, lying down on her side. She flicked off her light. saying, "Goodnight, Luna."

Luna replied tiredly "Good night Persepolis, sleep well." With that, silence echoed in the room, Luna eventually falling asleep lulled by the soft breaths the two took every so often.

Xylo smiled, holding her tightly, taking in her feminine scent. He loved her with a love that would never smolder. He led her to his bed, lying down so that they held each other side by side. He whispered lovingly, "I love you River."

River nestled into him. "I love you too, Xylo." She said tiredly. Soon, she drifted off to sleep. (Time skip to the next day?)
