Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Xylo took her hand and slowly stood up with her, responding "Sounds good. I will go work out a little, and then I'll see you later I suppose?" He opened the door, waiting for her to exit before he closed it. (You can have her go to the woods now)
(Let me write it up.)
River nodded and smiled, giving him a kiss before the left the room. She walked into the common room, then out of the cabin, a feeling of peace surrounding her.
Little did she know that she was about to walk into her own Hell.

(Xylo began his workout routine outside as he always did, with the intention to hunt in the afternoon.

Her stride easy, River walked through the woods. Birds song lovely songs, small animals rustled about their daily foraging, somewhere a ways off a deer snorted, the soft wind blew the leaves, wolves barked happily at their camp. Today was beautiful, peaceful, The perfect day. Nothing seemed wrong to River.
A deer chuffed. Heavy footsteps sounded. One gunshot. Two, three humanoid screams. Crashing as something- or someone- ran away.
River's heart lurched. The screams- were they the screams of Banished? Had Horius struck again? Or... Was it hunters?
She crept into the shadows, slowly inching forward. What if it is a Banished? And what if I`m too late? She shuddered.
Many minutes later she finally she reached where the screams had come from. Blood covered the ground.
Her heart jumped.
A still, un-moving foot stuck out from behind a bush. It- the body- had been hidden, and the bush itself... It looked... Off. As if someone had... Changed it? Her gut twisted. There was only one Aves that she knew of that could control plants.
Fola.
River crept forward, moving around the bush.
She couldn't stop her yelp of terror.
Behind the bush lay the twisted, dead bodies of her mother- Kayla Fleur- and one of her best friends- Fola, both of the Mansion Aves.
She couldn't stop herself from gagging, Fola had been shot in the neck, a steady flow of still warm blood flowing from the wound. Kayla- her mother- had been slashed over and over in the chest with a dagger. A pool of blood already surrounded them.
River fell to her knees, tears bursting from her eyes as she crumpled down.
They were dead.
And there was no going back.
This was forever.
They would never be coming back.

(If this is too violent, tell me to edit it.)

River stood up and inched forward towards the bodies, tears flowing from her eyes and drenching her face.
And the peace?
What even was peace?
She crumpled to the ground again, inches away from her mother's and friend's bodies. Her hands wrapped around herself as she sobbed.
They just died. If I would have been faster... Maybe I could have somehow saved them... But now...
In her mind's eye she constructed what had happened.
Fola and Kayla had left to find the Banished, following them. They had been so close... But had been picked off by hunters before they could even get a glimpse of them. And then that brought her to now.
She fell into a worse spout of weeping.

Luna shook her head, chuckling "You're great Persepolis, you know that?" She stood up and stretched, fully awake now. She looked up at Persepolis, before asking with a smile, "You going to get down before you crack your head open? I don't care if you can heal yourself, I don't want to be around to see that." She chuckled softly as she stood by the door, waiting for Persepolis to get down."
Persepolis laughed, "I am the Great Persepolis." She stopped swinging, replying, "I'll get down. Besides, I can only heal myself if I'm conscious." She folded her arms across her chest and did a hanging sit-up, pulling herself into a seated position on the rafter. She swung one leg over and, as a prank, dismounted messily, acting like she had lost her balance. She tumbled off headfirst, twisting her body at the last second so that she landed on her feet, crouched. She stood, laughing. Persepolis had had fun pulling the stunt even if it probably had given Luna a minor heart attack.

Xylo had already begun running, sprinting towards the gunshots which sounded like they were just two miles away at most. He slowed as he approached, hearing nothing but soft tears. They were real, loaded with genuine pain. The pain that ate away at a person’s heart. He soon recognized who it was, River standing next to two dead bodies, crying. He rushed to her side, asking worriedly “What happened? Who are these?” His eyes looked down to the two Aves, who had been brutally murdered, shaking his head in disdain as he waited for and answer.
(What if Horius killed the two...)

Luna chuckled, “You’re the great idiot, that’s what.” She holstered her knives as she looked back to her friend, before asking simply “Want to go hunting now? I’m actually kind of hungry, and I’m pretty sure everyone else is going to be too. I saw a deer her west of you want to head that way.” Luna leaned against the cabin wall as she waited for answer from her friend.
