Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

"I made a bow." Alec said proudly, gesturing at his weapon. "And then I waited in a tree by a river for the deer to come along."
Luna gave him a smile of acknowledgement, impressed with his craftsmanship. She voiced this verbally as she commended “Good job, it’s a nice bow, and deer.” Her eyes averted to the fire where said deer was roasting, astounded by its size and how much of a patient hunter he had to have been.

(Sorry I missed this...)
Hector’s eyes averted to the sky as he saw her doing acrobatics in the sky with no sign of fear. He gave her a smile and waved in return when she did, appreciative they could share some time together again. He praised her shyly “That was quite impressive. You don’t get scared when you do that sort of thing?” Hector wasn’t as comfortable with those sort of aerial maneuvers, lest would he try one unless he was forced to.
(That's okay)
Persepolis shook her head slightly, answering honestly, "Thanks. No, it doesn't scare me. I've been doing things like that for about as long as I can remember." She glanced at him, happy to be spending time with him. Finally, she continued speaking, "Did you do anything today?" She waited for his answer.

Hector nodded with the hint of a smile, standing up and heading to the brush of the fores to retrieve something. He returned with a bouquet of wildflowers, neatly strung together by a band of grass. The bouquet was rather large, including almost every color imaginable, of pristine wildflowers that couldn’t have been picked too long ago, as they all still seemed alive. It was clear Hector had searched for these for hours, since each wildflower grew in a different spot in the forest. He shyly handed them to her, hoping she’d like them.

Persepolis watched as Hector went to brush of the forest. A genuinely happy smile spread across her lips as he returned with the bouquet. Her eyes shining with wonder and clear joy she gently took the bouquet from him. She spoke softly with an obvious note of admiration in her voice, "Thank you so much. These flowers are so beautiful, you must have looked a long time for all of them. I love them." Careful to avoid damaging the bouquet, she gave him a gentle and meaningful hug.

"Thank you!" Alec said happily. "I still need to find some decent feathers for the arrows, but they do fly okay without them, just really wobbly."

Luna picked a few of her feathers, making sure to alternate where she picked them from so as to not have any areas of her wings barren. She gave them to Alec shyly, asking "Would these work?"

Hector gave her a shy smile, blushing slightly at her kind words. He returned the embrace gently, whispering genuinely "I'm glad you like them Persepolis. They took a little while to get them." He continued his statement after they pulled away from their hug, looking in her eyes with a smile, "But it was worth it." His words were genuine, every second he had spent in getting those were rectified by her enjoyment in getting the gift. His smile accompanied hers as they stood there looking at each other.

"Did you seriously just pick off some of your feathers? Ouch." Alec said. "Also, not where I was planning to go with that, but whatever. And yes, those do work, thank you."

Persepolis gave him another bright smile and said proudly, "I'll place these in a vase in my room." She very gently set the bouquet down, standing back up and taking a small step closer to him. She brushed at a stray piece of her hair with her fingers, giving up when it fell back in front of her eye. She admitted genuinely, "It's so nice to get to spend some time with you again. I like spending time with you." She caught his eye for a few seconds longer than a casual glance before flicking her eyes away, blushing slightly. She wasn't great at flirting but she was trying at least.

Luna gave him a sheepish smile, before responding "Well, they were the closest and easiest feathers to find. So...I picked them." She hoped he liked them, and that they would serve him well, at least his arrows.
