Persepolis walked with him, inwardly cursing herself for being so bitter around him. She shouldn't have done that. As the sky darkened, Persepolis slowed her walk, carefully picking her way through the forest as her visibility slightly declined. She listened to his question and took a moment to answer. Finally, she answered. "I'm not like most Aves, in that sense. I prefer day instead of night. Mostly because I can't really see when it's dark as I'm not a bird of the night." There was more to her reasoning that she didn't add. Persepolis asked, "What about you?"Hector was taken aback a little by her clear bitterness, not knowing what to do. Let her express her bitterness, which all in all she deserved to given her past, or try to calm it? He quickly decided to let her express herself, letting Persepolis finish her story completely, not sure what to do afterwards. He simply continued walking with her, letting the silence overtake them. The sky darkened slowly, and as a result, Hector asked curiously “Night or day? Which do you prefer?”
