Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Alec froze. She could control things with her mind? He tried to subtly move away from her. "What do you mean about the last part?" He asked trying to hide his slightly shaking voice. He looked straight ahead, not looking at her. His hand instinctually went to his slingshot. "Aves have powers besides having wings & turning into birds?"
Luna noticed his uneasiness and reassured softly, her eyes pleading for him to relax, “I won’t hurt you. Please trust me Alec.” Once she let those words settle in, she continued “Yes. Every Aves is born with a special power. In the case of the humans that have been turned into Aves, they get it then.” She sighed, realizing she had probably told him something else he didnt know, if he didnt know the first part. She reemphasized “I wont hurt you. Please dont hurt me.”

Persepolis smiled, her eyes shining. She answered softly, "I'd love to do that. I really don't want to leave, you're right." She softly took his hand and motioned towards the edge of the camp area. "After you" she whispered with another smile. While she waited for him to take the lead, she stretched her wings out a little, fanning the feathers so that the moonlight glinted off of them.
Hector smiled at her honesty, joyous to know she wanted to stay with him. With a soft motion, he took her hands once they reached the edge of the common area, drawing her in to him like a fish on a pole. He spread his wings slowly, prepared to perform the same fisplay of affection they had enacted earlier, waiting for her to spread hers so they could rustle against each others feathers. His facial expression was kind, affectionate, timid, but there was a hint of confident desire in his eyes as well.

Alec listened to her, still looking straight ahead. "Humans can be aves now, huh? What else am I missing?" He said rhetorically. He kept a firm grip on his weapon, uncase she tried anything. Not that it would help. After all, she could control things with her mind.

Luna was slightly hurt by his words, and his tight grip on his weapon. It meant he didnt fully trust her yet, and her patience was running out. But she would persevere in trying to befriend him, maybe even get him to court her. This was something she wanted. She sighed, before replying “No. other than that Aves are normal humans except for that we usually have multiple births.”

"Like... twins?" Alec asked, his voice wavering. He sensed her disappointed & lack of patience, but refused to look at her yet. He focused on a tree, & held his gaze there.

Luna nodded, responding simply “Or more.” Her gaze fell to the night sky, seeing the star sparkle and glitter on the dark canvas that was the sky. It distracted her from the fact that he had suddenly turned more hostile against her. Luna would not speak again until he did, she deciced.

Alec stayed silent, and dropped his gaze to stare at the ground. "Were you ever going to tell me your power?" He asked, doubting she would've. She didn't know him that well, so why would she have told him?

Luna responded quickly, not wanting there to be any confusion, “Yes. You deserved to know, i wasnt going to hide something from you that wasnt a big deal.” Her gaze was still focused on the night sky, trying to avoid his gaze, because she didnt think she could hold it anymore.

Persepolis let Hector draw her to him, smiling as he did so. When he spread his wings, clearly waiting for her, she met him. Her wings drifted up, filling the rest of the space around them. Their feathers touched and she rustled hers against his, creating that beautiful sound of their affection. When their wings closed around them they were once again alone, in the world of their own creation.
