Lies Spread Quickly RP

Tess backed away, whining softly and flinching away from the man. She watched warily as he turned and left the room, only then relaxing. Her paw began to throb to the beat of her heart, sharp pain penetrating her resolve every few seconds or so. Tess made a high noise in the back of her throat, and bowed down to chew at her paw and lap up the blood. Blurrily, she realized that she didn't want to get blood on Greymane's carpet, and limped outside, scaring a few chickens away. Chickens....

Throwing on a rough linen shirt and thick canvas pants, Greymane headed outside to cut some bacon out in the cellar. He saw her crouched low, ears forward, eyes fixed on one of his admittedly delicious fat hens. " I know what yer after, pup, an it is mighty tempting, but I find I get fewer eggs when I eat the best ones. If you don't mind, we can sort later and I'll let you have a cull." He ushered the chickens back towards the coop. This girl was pretty wild, he'd have to be careful with her.

Tess shoved her ears forward, immediately ashamed. She hadn't meant to stalk the chicken, but she hadn't exactly stopped herself, either. Ears back in apprehension, Tess limped towards Greymane, her tail dragging meekly in the dust. When she got to his feet, she rolled over on her stomach, an expression of extreme submission. It took all of Tess's courage to keep from running, from bolting a safe distance away from this human. But, through his human scent, she smelled the Ulven in him, and that was enough to keep her put.

Ignacio offered "How about now? The longer we wait, the more time we will have to spend with the Vepsen around, since they're more active later in the day."

Autumn smiled at Ignacio. "Sure." She walked to the door, and looked back at Ignacio. Suddenly, a thought that hadn't occurred to her set her cheeks flaming. "Ignacio? Do you have money?"

~A sleek, dark shadow thrummed silently through the forest, its eyes of flame burning a visible path before it. Leaves spun away as the massive she-wolf skid over them, in pursuit of her elusive quarry: a young doe. She had jumped the naive animal a while back in an expansive meadow, and for all the she-wolf who carried no watch could tell, she had been tracking it for miles. She nimbly hurdled a fallen log, not even yet panting, she thought with mild satisfaction. Endurance had never been a problem to Ash. The sun was slowly creeping down behind the sky; if Ash were going to kill and eat her prey as a wolf, she needed to hurry.~

Ignacio nodded, but added "Not too much. Don't worry about it, I'm a good bargainer." He grinned sheepishly at his own answer.

(Aphoryllo can find her! He's a Navenet.)

(Okay-cool! And Ulvens and Navenets are blatant enemies- or friends? Hold on- never mind, I'll just go read the rules myself)
