Life Happens- Mom's Health, My Health, and the man... **Update Pg 48**

Dress up a bit, put on light make up and lighten up. Don't worry about how to act! You're hanging out with a friend. Just coincidentally, he's of the opposite sex. Who knows where it might go. 46+ years ago I married my best friend. (A cliche, yeah, but it's true.) When the edges start to burn off of the passion, it's nice to be with someone that you LIKE. Just be you, that's why he likes you. Hope it works out and have fun!

He likes her the way she is but he may really, really like her in a cute little sundress and strappy sandals.

My DBF likes me all sweaty and dirty in jeans and a tank top but he really, really, really likes me in a dress and heels. Doesn't happen often but it will certainly rivet his attention like nothing else will.

Variety is the spice of life.

Man's Point of View!!!

First, find out what the bride(s) are wearing. DO NOT wear the same thing. but don't clash. Don't dress to impress, just look nice. Find out what your guy is wearing and match his "dress" level.
(they have a point with the dress and heels thing.....I'm just saying...)

About your guy,
Trust me, I don't know you from anyone. But if he's not gay, The thought of having you as a girlfriend has crossed his mind..(about ten seconds after saying"Hi, my name is...") We all do, it's in our genes. As long as you don't pick your nose and rub it on his sleve, you probably won't have any problems....Unless he's a jerk. LOL

Unless specifically told that one of the weddings is extremely casual, don't wear jeans. You don't have to get all frouffy, but dress appropriate for the occasion.

Amen to all of the above.

Any yeah, don't worry, be happy and be yourself.

Be yourself? Pfff! That never works

If you can pull it off, you can't go wrong with a black, velvet dress and a silver, sparkly or pearl necklace.

Camo? If he's busy, maybe I'll go with you. :p

I agree with the jeans thing.

A cute little sundress & heels, light makeup...maybe a nice little necklace sounds perfect. Don't overdue it...and most of all...STOP WORRYING! =]

Thanks guys...

I knew I would get great advice.... but one more problem... I can't wear heels. I'm already a titch over 6', and I don't want to end up in the ER on my one weekend off.

Edited because I can't spell.....

, or one who's "a titch over 6' "; make no mistake, men LOVE tall women (especially if they have legs that go all the way up to their hips).

Well, just got the call. No date (he's working) so looks like dress slacks and a blouse. The conundrum is over.
