They are adorable! We had ducks on the farm...they had 3 ponds and a creek to choose from...always picked the cow tank in the dairy barn corrals! They were fun, we had geese, but I have bad memories of them...

I'm sure they are good to have around...I was just glad when I could finally outrun my brother!

My kids and I are jealous!!! We want to get a duck. My house is like a zoo too most of the time between all the crazy things going on with kids and animals. However, I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!

Picked up my 8 MMH chicks tonight! They look great.

Here's a quick picture till I can get a better one. I want them to rest so I'm not bugging them too much.
Wow, 12 chicks make a lot more noise than 3!

Pretty birds! I want to try Blue Swedish Ducks too. How do you like their personalities? I am planning to order some Barnevelders next spring from Ideal. I want just a few of the dark brown egg layers for variety. From what I've heard, they sound like sweet birds. How do you like the Welsummers? Which seems to be more accepting of people?
