That is great news. Having spent some time in the hospital and at home with the BF recently I know how difficult it is to see them in pain and not really be able to do anything other than commiserate (I spent the first night in the recliner in the living room as he slept on the couch where we could elevate his leg - not comfortable).

The surgery SOUNDS horrible. They are doing a skin graft since he won't have enough skin to close it and he has to wear a pump for a week

Aww, my mom has to have a skin graft on her ulcer.
