I'm so sorry. I know that you're sad for your friend and afraid for your future too.

I know when we went through our experience helping our dear friend, it helped a great deal to learn all I could. COPD includes chronic emphasema, asthma, and other respiratory issues. I meant to share this info earlier.

I hope that you get some specific support and information/tips from some of these options:

I am so sorry this is happening to you and your husband.

My father had COPD and had stopped smoking many many years ago while in his early 30's. He was told he had 2 yrs but lived for 11.

I think because he kept himself so healthy in every other way, it gave him added years. But most of all he had a positive attitude.

The Doctors are coming up with new and better drugs that really help.

Even if you cant keep your chickens please share all the knowledge you have with us new comers!

*Fires up the backhoe* My head knows the truth, I just prefer to not face it right now. Does that make sense? Now I can see how victims of a crime bury it. Trauma, whatever from, is tough to deal with.

I am so sad for her. I don't know her, but I will add her to my prayers. Stay strong for her, and she will be there for you when you need her. Which I pray is a long, long time from now.
